Certainties? Have a word with yourself. Barnsley's excellent and exceptional run of form is not something our management team have any influence over. You may as well criticise Barnsley for being so shocking before their run. They obviously had the resources to do better.

Those teams have built their squad over several seasons so not necessarily a simple direct comparison.

Let's hope we can keep the upturn going. I won't say form because we are still not convincing, which was how it was when we squirmed our way into the top three. I am not being negative, just calling it how I see it. Best season in aged and better than I expected.

I think he is a tremendous talent. Not sure if loan striker is the best way to utilise his talents? Not sure we have always given him the best service or support? But I think he has the ability to develop into a top Championship player if not Premier League player. He could even be successful...

I thought this was the season for him to come to the fore and for us to build a team around him. We helped him by signing Vincent and Fleck started well. But like our promotion bid he fell away and has come up a little short of what is really required.

I agree with you he is one of our best players and good player at this level. It is when people start saying he is a cut above this level that I don't agree with. Yes he could play in the Champioship but would be no more than a squad player for the vast majority of teams at that level.

Not saying he couldn't play there but he wouldn't stand out. He doesn't dominate games for 60 or 70 minutes does he? Neither is he a 20 minute player that devastates the opposition. He is a decent player at this level and that is all.

That is just it, he is not a quality level above this division at all, that is why he is 15th in the list. Why do we keep marking up the ability of our players then get disappointed when they don't deliver?
