I am in the camp of working with our budget and putting some decent infra structure in the club and building a team over several seasons. It worked with Jimmy Hill and it has worked at places like Leicester and Southampton. Burton is another example of steady progress over a number of years...

According to Forbes John Huntsman has given away about 1.5 billion 80 per cent of his wealth mainly to the church. So I still see no evidence Joy Seppala is a billionaire.

As Nick thinks....seems to be about John Huntsman not Seppala. She doesn't feature on Forbes rich list?

Play some youngsters and players who want a new contract. Tough game today. It would be great to finish on a win but expect a dull draw.

Being a millionaire back in the 1960's was a lot of financial clout. I have seen no evidence that Sepalla is a billionaire. Until someone comes in with money to burn, the club has to be run on self sufficient lines in order for it to survive. That is not to say it cannot compete and be...

Only the season they got promoted an average around 26,000. The year before they finished 4th average around 17,000. The two seasons before that it was around 10-11,000.

But we have won more this season than we have previously. So progress made for a change. The January window is difficult as the right people are not always available. Yes he took a few gambles and they didn't come off Hunt being one. I don't think anyone can build a side in one window and...

Nobody is settling for mid table. But we are where we are and we have to rebuild the club on realistic and sensible lines. We have actually seen progress this season, the first time in a long time. Burton came into this league on merit and got out of it on merit. I found it amazing how many...

Since our return to level 3 I suggest we lost fans through having a poor season. The other teams you mention were probably in a promotion challenge, that can sustain your support or even increase it.

    Joe Cole thanks CCFC

I agree with all of that, but Cole was brought in to have an impact and push us on to promotion. He didn't have that effect.

Burnley have spent 53 years as a level 1 club and 11 at level 3. Coventry 34 at level 1 and 25 at level 3. However since returning to level 3 the fact we have been so poor is a disgrace.

It is only the worst haiku if you think it is a haiku when it isn't. It has a fourth line and the syllable count is nowhere near. I have actually had haikus published. The Cole factor just didn't work.

Tudgay - New contract or not ?

Tudgay was under used this year. But resign him, I would say no.

"Realistic" free transfers or signings only

He knew he need more players and a bit of experience. He had a budget to work to and could only sign who was available....they were worthwhile punts that didn't come off. Neither has he saddled the club with longer contracts than necessary. I would ask who did he miss out on in January? I...

He is professional so saying the right thing does not suprise me. He was brought here to ignite our season and get us promotion. He has been a failure. If anything he disrupted our season. I wish him well as I have nothing against the bloke

I think it is great all these unfashionable clubs doing well. Some of our fans seem to have enough arrogance to be Man United fans?

    Progress against 2014/15

It is process. Yes the after Christmas form was horrendous and went on longer than anyone could imagine. Totally frustrating. A slight upturn in form in the last few games. He needs to kick on now with some backing from the owners and the fans. Not saying promotion but we need progress again.
