    Idiots with the whistles

The whistle thing isn't an invention of Sky Blues Talk.

    More players coming in...ideas?

I loved Murphy, seeing him go mad at players was always fun too. I bet he still calls Chris Hussey in the dead of night to give him shit down the phone

    More players coming in...ideas?

It was an odd one. To kill off a game either way I'd have thought Gadzhev to either retain the ball or Jones to go directly at them. Instead we got Lameiras who ballsed up both approaches.

    Stuart Beavon

Seeing him outleap the defender was impressive enough, the composure to pick out the cross as well was great and tallied up with the positive stuff Burton fans were saying. Credit to Reid for heading back across goal too, his decision making at times was horrendous but he nailed it then.

    Stuart Beavon

One positive from the game yesterday is that both our goals were created thanks to individual moments of quality from Beavon and Haynes. Having the capacity to create goals rather than hope they're gifted to you is promising.

    Idiots with the whistles

This forum is weighed down with all the needless and endless feuds, it's so fucking dull.

    The official NFL Thread

Just realised a win over Detroit would see a trip to Atlanta rather than Dallas. Possible chance to right the wrong from the same game four years ago, that late FG still burns.

    Idiots with the whistles

If it's the Sky Sports highlights, the footage of the second goal starts after the incident so it's not on the video.

I've given up on Lameiras. The only time he looks consistently impressive is pinging passes round at half time.

    Idiots with the whistles

I'm just past halfway up 16 and I thought the ref had blown up.

    Idiots with the whistles

I was wondering that. Someone came round block 16 in the last few mins announcing there'd be a sit-in, but there must have been some who had to get away and would have taken part with a bit of notice. If it's announced a few hours or days before there's still not much can be done to stop it...

    Another protest?

Happened right in front of my block. Bolton player shanked it, two players hesitated as if play had stopped. It was surprising to see it carry on as I thought the ref had blew up also. There were a handful of whistles blown during the game but one in particular was very convincing. I think the...

    Idiots with the whistles

People don't tend to sound like a referee's whistle when they do it though.

    Nathan Clarke

I was concerned he might not be match fit but I thought he had a good game, one thing that stood out was his composure under pressure at times. Very promising start

    Idiots with the whistles

You've read several people mention it and dismissed them as just looking to deflect from the owners. Funny that

    Idiots with the whistles

Any player or manager mentioning a whistle would be accused of turning on fans, making excuses and what have you.

I wish Tudgay had just taken it himself instead of playing in Thomas. We're not in the division to get away with neat and cute.
