I think people are just judging his performance in this game irrespective of his age or name.

    Refereeeeeeeeee

It was nice of the Football League to allow Utd to play Ozzie Rules to even up the contest. I don't think the ref did too badly: Sheffield used a strategy of constant niggly fouls, none of them serious enough for a booking and he gave a free kick each time. I think that there were a couple...

    Sheffield United (Away) Match Thread

Just googled it "Boys have a job to do live on Sky Sports today #CCFC #PUSB" I don't think that means he'll not play.

Of course we remember you - you came on and predicted exactly what Reda would do as we signed him. You were right.

Note to self: stop speed reading and assuming you know what the words are that you skip over. I didn't see the bit about his children and assumed Tone was looking forward to taking the team to Lapland etc.

    Whyte played for city

He was a good player his entire career. One of those consistent better than average players who aren't quite good enough to make the very top - although he did play for Arsenal for many years.

    Coventry Top 5 Goals!

Was listening to Magazine 'Real Life' as I clicked on the link. As the video started so did 'Shot by Both Sides'. You can imagine my disappointment to find that all the shots were from the same side.

You are right, as a measure of GDP. Debt as a percentage of GDP has of course fallen dramatically since 1945 for almost every government as the economy grew. However you must take the global economy into account. I didn't mention McDonald before because it wouldn't have been fair in the...

    1) They are putting the onus on everyone. As well as reducing tax evasion they are addressing tax avoidance. Look at the Dividend tax: from 2016 you will be limited to £5k dividend income tax free then pay the remainder at your income tax rate -> this addresses people with their own companies...

I'm sorry. My excuse is that I'm totally fed up with people saying untrue things on social media. But I can see I was wrong and I apologise.

Maybe; I can't decide on these. I understand the rationale for both: HS2 is part of the "Northern Powerhouse" initiative I believe - intended to bring prosperity to the North? And then there's the defence arguments... I agree with you on Education and I disagree with the Tories' obsession...

It's not a choice. There is no option. If we don't reduce public spending then debt interest piles up and reduces the amount to spend even further. You may argue that Keynes said to spend during recession to promote growth and save during boom to avoid bubbles building up that will burst...

Having another flounce with unsupported rhetoric? 1) No, collecting evaded tax could not "sufficiently" reduce the deficit. The deficit currently stands at £88 billion and it's only come down from Brown's £153 billion because of the resurgence of growth and slow and careful reduction in public...

Clement Atlee did but then growth continued after Anthony Eden took over. So I'll give you that one. Nobody could claim that Wilson/Callaghan did, surely? They nearly brought the country to it's knees - although Heath did just as badly. And Brown/Balls certainly didn't. They inherited a...
