Only slight reservation I have with him training with us is that I want all involved committed to the same cause - having e.g. Reid, Turnbull, Thomas hanging around could create a slight undercurrent/distraction that we don't need. Hopefully MR will manage the situation well.

Agree with all on here. he wasn't overly loved - but we were playing at a higher level - I do remember opponents hating him though - and we have missed a Mr nasty for quite some time - throw in Kelly and both the DKE's, muscle from Stokes and McDonald and we look quite an aggressive team?

You may be right about goals - who knows at this stage; however - no way is he going to bring in 3 attacking midfielders- I would only think 1 (think budget means he will be relying on a DKE/Jones/Haynes/Finn to supplement Doyle/Kelly)

Has anybody (cleverer than me - and there'll be a lot of you out there) listed the potential exhaustive list of 'appeals' etc that they can do? I would quite like to know if they have completed 7 out 10 possible avenues (for example). Apologies if there is already a list out there.

I've heard rumours before (on all sorts of things, not necessarilly CCFC related)- I've passed some on - that's not the same as being a bullshitter (which is making things up). Don't know about Juggy's past rumours etc.- just seemed a decent enough bloke when I've met him.

Sounds good, but I would be more hopeful of picking up this type of player if we were a league higher - unfortunately I suspect one or two clubs won't want their 'young fledglings' subjected to the L2 neanderthals (although it may be a great learning curve for them).
