Contract extension - 4 Years - Jordan Ponticelli

Good move. Gives the kid some security and means if other teams want him the club are in a stronger bargaining position. Despite his potential I doubt he is on anything like the wages David Bell was on. So 2, 3 or 4 year contracts for kids who have development and sell on potential, although...

    Is it any wonder.....

I think the debates have been around SISU's failure to react to the situation they bought themselves into, rather than defend the catalogue of poor management that went before them.

    Is it any wonder.....

I have said this countless times...the previous owners were shit and hamstrung us....but it has all been consigned to history, debating them changes nothing. The only people who can change things are the current owners. It is their watch, what have they achieved in moving the club forward? It...

    Is it any wonder.....

You could be right, they may not be any worse. But that doesn't mean we should not all still want to see the back of them.

Started off in Whoberley plenty of mates were City, then moved to Earlsdon. Work then took me to Sheffield, Doncaster, Liverpool, Manchester and Oldham before moving back to Coventry and Earlsdon again. Now live in Finham. Didn't meet too many on my travels.

    The telegraph understands...

Just like the national press. Unfortunately the state of the British Press not just the Telegraph.

    School visit

Good to see the club integrating with the community. Hopefully some kids will go home and be asking to go and see Coventry City play. Some staff might fancy it too.

    The telegraph understands...

It's written to get a reaction. Seems to have worked! If some of you analysed the national press as much as you do the Coventry Telegraph (which you claim is not worth reading) you would realise what is wrong with the world.

Match Thread Coventry City - Exeter City Match Thread - Saturday 23rd Sep

I think it will be a tight game. 1-1 wouldn't surprise me

    Attendance against Exeter

£24.00 is too high £10.00 is too low. It should be around £15-20 pounds. Deals for accompanied under 16's and deals for students on production of students union card. With the amount at Coventry and Warwick are the club really trying to capture this market?

As others have already explained there are other factors to take into consideration. If it was a "white elephant" in SISU's eyes they would have walked away, glad that Wasps had took it on and then cracked on building their own stadium.

Agree, why work hard to gain possession then immediately kick or throw the ball into a 50/50 lottery.

You didn't ask me but it is this: A gift that is a burden, something not easily disposed of. A thing that is useless and no longer needed, although it may have cost a lot of money
