McPake - I am not injury prone

Julian Joachim had two years crocked....amazing he made a rapid recovery in the last year of his contract, and then he had the cheek to bugger off elsewhere. Still that went badly and he ended up at Boston....what goes around comes around ;)

    Footballers ID

Loved the picture of 'unnamed Man utd player known as the welsh wizard' on the front of the Sunday herald yesterday. Great picture with a small black strip covering his eyes. best of all he now has several thousand twitter users to sue rather than the original whistleblower, perhaps that might...

McPake - I am not injury prone

I like McPake, and feel he has been very unlucky with some of the injuries, but the club do need a good injury free season from him for him to progress. Still in comparrison to McNamee, he is positively injury free.

Its bizarre how it happens, but Sutton beat us, Norwich beat Sutton 8-0 in the next round, then we went to Norwich and won 2-1 thanks to Speedies brilliant lob.

    For the old folks.

Speedies lob at Norwich was brilliant. I seem to rememebr a brilliant chip he did against Wimbledon in a 2-1 win at home, and another curling lob against Southampton, when he beat City fan and old boy Tim Flowers in goal. Talking of Tim flowers does anyone remember him being sent off, when not...

    For the old folks.

Well then Macca, do you remember the 4-0 win against Liverpool with Nicky Platnauer heading in the first on the floor about one foot from the line, and then Gibsons hat trick. What about the tuesday night game in about 1982/3 when we beat Sunderland 6-1 at home. I think Garry thompson got 2...

    You're going to Coventry

Oh come on Macca, its good to be remembered, and of course is a privelige to come to the home of the team that is a regular fixture around 18th place in the league every season ;)

    Norwich

What a sad bunch of miserable t*ssers. Still living in the wastelands, or the a*se end of England must do that to you. Cant believe they have been promoted and are still crying over some singing. Perhaps if they collectively grew some balls they might stop bleating so much. As for the jokes on...

Whats the best thing about AB's time at CCFC ??

Bringing BTurner on, and for once giving us some hope when we were in the play off places. I know that counts for bugger all now but at least for once we had a little hope.

    Favourite Coventry City league match?

I liked the 5-1 against Liverpool in about 1992, when Bugsy and Quinn both scored a couple, but in 1987 our 4-3 win against Spurs was a classic, with Cyrille scoring the winner in the last few minutes.
