He's already acquitted himself well against some very good players, including Adam Johnson! I agree about him not being that popular, but with people getting carried away over Bigi and Thomas' potential, they are overlooking who IMO is our best prospect and most likely to "make the grade"...

Sheff should take it. All Clingan wants is a goal onto his stats to help him get a contract elsewhere, he can fick off as far as i'm concerned. I prefer Thomas in his role, he will be a much better player in the future than "Sammy the soft shell crab"

I always said after my ordeal, if I have kids I will get checks done. Although the condition is not heireditary. In Italy from the age of 12 you have to have checks even to do PE at school. They have brought cases of sudden death syndrome in the young down by 90%!!!

what annoys me about them is that their academy team is better than ours (in the League above!) yet they haven't put any of them in because they "aren't good enough". Gael, Conor and Cyrus aren't the finished article either, but we had to put them in!

I think with Gael looking to play through balls behind the defence and Sheff (and Nimely a bit more) playing off the shoulder, could be just what we need.

I think we stand a small chance of survival if we put McSheffrey back up top with Nimely, he's our only offensive player with any incision. The gamble would be that we'd have to put Baker and Bell on either flank.......
