    Points for Play offs

Might be able to rest a few against Barnsley as well, the way things are going

    Points for Play offs

I know it would be good to progress in the cup but it makes sense to rest as many players as possible against Southampton.

    Just curious but

With 20 games still to play

    February is season defining

If you include Middlesboro, we need 14 to 15 points from that run. Would take us to 54 / 55 points with 13 to play. would still need to win a minimum of 5 of the remaining games, with some draws.

    Championship 21/22

Interestingly on the Wasted Chances thread, Blackburn are nowhere near the top of any of the tables, and in the Big Chances Created table they are 10th with 34. But they have scored 45 goals, which, I believe is a direct reflection on one player. Brereton. Fulham, Bournemouth, and West Brom...

    8 points better off

Our midfield does need to get more goals, but the midfield and the defence combined (including the wing backs) have 11, which is one third of our goals. Considering we have (had) 4 strikers all weighing in with goals that sounds about the right ratio to me.

    “Significant bids turned down”

Not sure he ever intended to sign a new contract until the end of the season. This is what he said according to CET “I am really happy and I look forward to sign a new deal but I am not looking too far yet. I will end the season first and see what’s going on...

Robins is supposed to have said, “He wanted a standing ovation so he went down and got cramp" Not sure what to make of that comment. https://www.coventrytelegraph.net/sport/football/football-news/coventry-city-mark-robins-qpr-22844045

With Greggs it's hard to know what's a wind up and what's not. I suspect most of what he posts is.

If he could get his boots on, it probably means he's ok to play tomorrow

It's his 21st birthday tomorrow, would be a great present if he came off the bench to score the winner.

Yes, I had mine removed some 50 odd years ago, recently a young doctor saw the scar and asked me if I had been stabbed.

It is what it is. As Brightonskyblue says we need a loan, whether we can bring one in good enough is another matter. I'm not ready to write our season off, even though it is a major blow, just have to see what we can do.

On the face of it, bad timing for us having just let Walker go, but it does give us a chance to play Waghorne and Gyo together again. It might be just what we need.

The general consensus is 2 to 4 weeks but I understand with extreme sporting activities there is a risk of a hernia developing and longer recuperation is recommended

I doubt very much he will be back to full fitness in 6 weeks if he has had his appendix removed. pusbccfc posted he has already had an op, not sure if he knows that for certain, but mild appendicitis, although requiring immediate A&E investigation, can sometimes be treated with antibiotics

    Derby points deduction

I think there is some history between Steve Gibson and Mel Morris as well

    Derby points deduction

It's starting to get a bit nasty. But I think the point is, the prospective buyers know the extent of money owed to MSD and HMRC, what they don't know is what if any, the amount will be owed to Middlesboro and Wycombe, should they win their claims

I guess the urgency to move Shipley out has receded with Walker going to Portsmouth
