    Form tables

I said we’ll get 81pts a few months ago. if we go like we have we look like getting 83/4 points. I’m hoping 8 wins 2 draws and 4 defeats but who knows.

What of the people who give abuse? It is very rare and this forum has high standards. The odd one crops up.

Where will we finish, the run in poll

Does it work out like that? Would the transfers this season offset some of the gap. In which case we could be ok. jinks.

Where will we finish, the run in poll

Forest focused on the wins. No reason why we can’t win the league. Plus there are one or two others who have similar goal tallies. As long as we score one more goal than them when we play them we play them I’ll be ok.

Yes, I know, at least our decline was spread out.

    That’s a pity. And a £25 million fine.

How many missing fans are there ?

Hold on a sec...it would help if we were playing in Coventry. Cov fans don’t live for football but come out at key times. Usually crucial games. I think we would be nudging 20k if back at the Ricoh. It isn’t the fans that have created this situation. the prem is expensive for fans. Why...

How many missing fans are there ?

And the missed generations in between. I just hope this gets sorted before we become a Bristol Rovers or Notts County kind of club. Both worthy of credit. But surely Coventry deserves a stable base to build from.

I can’t get my head around talking just part of the fan base out of the city . leaving your city to play football at Northampton. Then the shit takes us to Birmingham. It would be great if we were all cheering city in the same home in Cov.

    Pompey forum

Good question. I firmly believe the St Andrews fans are totally and unquestionable loyal to the Sky Blues. When I dip out of going (periodically) for reasons such as the horrible atmosphere and thuggery that blights football grounds occasionally. I do not jump on the bandwagon either. In 87...

    Pompey forum

Is St Andrew pitch bumpy and over used? Just wondered. Yes . I know... I’m a stay away fan. Self imposed staying in the city. Nothing will get me to go to St Andrews and I am missing out. I used to go up week in week out. I was driving near Highfield RD and my old parking spots. I’d...

    What a transformation

I suppose we should be thanking SISU for giving us the experience! And tour of football grounds for home games is noteworthy. Oh Joy.

    Underlying Data

I did that call and got us on 81 pts ish. You remember Bury? 44 Games this season. A couple of months I used a similar calc 1 said 81 pts ( if the grey matter is functioning) and since then we have been consistent. At the time I thought we needed 2 pts per game to be in the top two.

    Next 3 games

. I guess we can only play the teams we put ourselves in front of. We repeat ourselves as we get older! Memories of looking at the table. 34 years was an achievement based on how much the clubs seem to spiral down nowadays.

Good points. City also seem to manage on fewer match attendances yet still retain a fan base at the moment. The rest of them are in Coventry. SISU are playing with fire. It will be harder to come back even when City is in the city.
