    Born again

I'd go the same. From a financial perspective its a no-brainer. Apart from that you'd be growing up in the Jimmy Hill years. Teen years soundtracked by the likes of the Beatles and Stones or the emergence of metal if you like it heavier. Then in your 20s you get to see punk come along and blow...

Am I missing something? I just searched for Computer Science, as that was what I studied, and there are no available places at the top ranked unis.

    Wolves v Coventry

Looks like it’s at a training ground so probably just don’t have the facilities for media with the current situation.

Some key information missing from that report. Between the initial positive tests and the closedown were the rest of the staff in self isolation or wandering around passing it on to people?

Doesn't that just go back to the original problem that you've got a year where grades are way higher than every other year? Not that anyone pays attention to grades for anything other than getting into uni.

    New Stadium Announcement!!!!!!

I think the next things we need to see are the formalisation of the partnership and confirmation of the site, which seems to be reliant on the finalisation of routing for the a46 relief road and junction so if we can get a timeframe on that we might have more idea when to expect some news...

    New Stadium Announcement!!!!!!

While nobody is saying the exact location I think its pretty obvious it will be by the Sports Hub. Has anyone looked up where the land owned by the uni ends? If you look at the uni's parking plan they are planning a big car park Gibbet Hill Road before the roundabout with Leighfield Road...

    Three new friendlies

Well it would be amazing if it was Sky or BT showing our pre-season games so on the basis that we will have had 4 friendlies televised by Premier Sports who, as far as I can tell, are not showing friendlies of any other EFL team there must be some reason for it as I don't think our friendlies...

    All purpose cricket thread

A lot of what is being talked about seems to have been in the pipeline for a while as they have concerns about the value of future TV deals. Not sure why unless something has changed in the Indian market. Not running a performance centre when you have the same facilities at multiple grounds...

    Match Thread Swindon Town Friendly

A few people could do with reading Robins article on the club website yesterday. He talks about fitness and why they're doing things the way they are and where we're at with recruitment.

Wonder if Kastaneer is looking for a club and can't find anyone to take him or is just happy to sit around doing nothing and get a wage. If he can't even make the bench in these friendlies (there's been no mention of him being injured has there?) then he's got no chance of playing a role in the...

Think the cost that gets thrown around for the Ricoh is the cost for the entire site including the exhibition hall and shopping centre.

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

We've been told for weeks one of the keys is to stay below 1,000 infections a day. In the last week we've passed that on 5 days including 1,441 yesterday. The government completely ignored that and eased the restrictions in place so I wouldn't have too much confidence they will respond to the R...
