After the Elation - The questions

Some more work needed. I’m sure they’ve twigged that the fan base is important as well. Business models are important but I can’t help thinking it’s such a pity they left many fans and even more glory supporters back in the city. this is in reply to another post. Just a quick one...

After the Elation - The questions

No. No no no. Do you really want SISU to hang around. Just look at what they did over the years they had stewardship of the club. Liars, charlatans, disregarding city based football. Lies about stadiums etc. The revenue/ any revenue had come via sales. We needed owners to hold on or them...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

It would only take a very small sneeze to finish the season. Why go through the hassle of employing ‘Wheezy and Sneezy’ (Former hospital porters) at Ryton. Just end the season now.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Yes. Agreed. In my world (I know) we would be back in the city. But I’ll take the promotion and then just hope we are back at some point. Next season behind closed doors will be interesting. No discussions about Fand B or the journey to St Andrews. It may be pay per view and could even...

I’d hope so. And there is a fair chance at least two will if they are kept guessing about how the league will finish.

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

General Question...if you were a local authority at the start of a pandemic what would you do first? It’s all a bit academic now but I’m interested to know if anyone had a plan in mind at the start of this.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

nah far better to go on how the team performs against all comers. That’s how the real season pans out. If a team loses against lower half clubs why would they be deemed better than the team that is consistent throughout the season regardless of opposition. There no point in beating a team...
