Not sure there was much wrong with that.

Good work there, thought Hamer had messed it up with his first touch but got it under control. A decent chance.

    Pay Freeze for Public Workers

Not had that at any of the last three companies I've been at. Maybe its just the sector I work in then. You'd get laughed at asking for overtime or TOIL. Wish we did, I'd be doubling my salary most months.

Well I guess we can't say he's refusing to change things this season.

    Pay Freeze for Public Workers

Isn't that the norm for salaried employees? I'm contracted for 40 hours a week but can't remember the last week I did less than 60. No chance of getting overtime or even TOIL.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

That was just checking passports. When we leave they will also be checks on food, drink and agricultural products so even bigger delays.

Any of the names ring a bell with anyone? Don't recognise any of them and a quick google doesn't seem to show much.

    New Stadium Announcement!!!!!!

Would be worth putting this station next to HS2 just to 'future proof' it. When, at some point in the future, they change their mind about extra stations they could have one ready and waiting to service the city.

Coventry City Supporters Forum - Zoom meeting 3/12 5pm

This. Fisher says the finances work in L1/L2 but not the Championship. We all know our budget is tiny compared to pretty much everyone else in this division so what's the solution? Having our own stadium, even if by some miracle someone built it and donated it to the club at not cost, isn't...

    Things that annoy you

From the sounds of things you're still working your hours. No issue with that, think flexible working should be the norm unless there's operational reasons for it. What I'm talking about is people who are basically getting 7.5 - 10 hours off, with pay, per week. Over a school year that equates...

    Match Thread Under 23’s

Hard to tell, in another stunning piece of journalism despite the poor bloke not being able to get a pre-season in due to a breathing issue nobody thought it was worth asking about that. All we get is "he’s not as close as I want him to be at the minute, but he’s a great kid who has had a really...

    CWR Sky Blues Fancast

Anyone listened to this? Didn't know it exited tbh until the club posted about it. Worth a go or is it phone in standard? https://www.ccfc.co.uk/news/2020/november/press-watch-dave-boddy-speaks-to-bbc-cwrs-new-sky-blues-podcast/

    Things that annoy you

'on the school run' How has this become part of the working day? Since people started working from home it seems to have become completely acceptable to turn up an hour late in the morning and then take another 45 minutes to an hour off in the afternoon. Given we work an 8 hour day we've got...

Fans back in stadia by Xmas?

If you sat near the half way line at the Ricoh you'd be used to no singing or clapping.

This doesn't read well from the governments perspective. https://article39.org.uk/2020/11/24/court-of-appeal-rules-education-secretary-acted-unlawfully-in-removing-safeguards-for-children-in-care/

Where have you seen confirmation of the rules in place at Xmas? Hancock has just told a select committee he doesn't know what they will be yet and there's a cobra meeting scheduled for this afternoon to discuss it.

Fans back in stadia by Xmas?

Think we all know that sitting outdoors and maintaining social distancing has been safe for months yet they've insisted it not go ahead. To make the change now seems the worst possible time. We're coming out of a lockdown and need to ensure numbers don't go back up and we also have Christmas...

    New Stadium Announcement!!!!!!

The stations primary purpose is to service the new housing in the area and the university. Aren't the restrictions at the Ricoh to do with a lack of capacity on trains and therefore concerns about station overcrowding, made worse by the fact its an station with no staff? Hopefully any station...
