    Wasps downward spiral...

I remember having a discussion with Italia back in the day when he was arguing Wasps games had more exposure than ours and were therefore more valuable in terms of stadium naming rights. The ratings for live games was shockingly low. This was when we were in L1, or possibly even L2, and one live...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Lets hope so. Look forward to the thread continuing for another 1400 pages with people arguing if its a better deal than we had as an EU member.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Appreciate its a long thread, 1402 pages and counting, but I don't recall people saying it was a good thing for the rich to receive money off the EU for doing nothing. What was the context?

Some good news. FDA have found the Moderna vaccine to be safe and 95% effective. Expected to be approved when they meet on Thursday. Expect approval here won't be far behind.

Haven't they already said that any FTA with the UK will be reliant on us agreeing to a big relaxation of immigration rules for Indians wanting to move over here?

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

If there's a case in a school this week doesn't that mean you then have to isolate over Christmas? Seems a ridiculous thing to pick an argument over. Even if you're all for keeping schools open no matter what we're talking about four days, does that really make a huge difference to kids...

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

Can't understand his stance on school closures. That seems an easy win. He's got three Labour councils telling schools to close, which they are saying is based off advice from Public Health England, he's got a Labour Mayor of London urging the government to close all London schools, closures...

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

Suspect they won't and the government will then act surprised when there's a surge in cases in the new year.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

This is one of the most frustrating things to me. The Brexit we were sold was one where we'd have so much money we wouldn't know what to do with it as we weren't subsidising the EU and people would be queuing up to do deals on much better terms than we had now we were free of EU interference...

    MESSAGE FROM MILLWALL

Not at all. My biggest concern would be on dressing room harmony as our players have previously mentioned that it was a team decision. If the team were all taking the knee, and one player decided not to, how are the other players going to react?

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

It seems very convenient that after the government was criticised for treating London and the south differently to the rest of the company, and the potential for that to result in rising cases, it now turns out its not the packed shops, bars and restaurants we've all seen the pictures of on...

    MESSAGE FROM MILLWALL

This is someone on the wind up surely? If it isn't we have a politics thread, feel free to head over to it and explain exactly what the issue is Millwall fans have with Marxism and, besides booing your own players, what actions you are taking against Marxism. Maybe also explain why you decided...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Rumours seem to be gathering pace that Johnson has backed down on the level playing field provisions. If correct does that mean we're now down to just fishing, surely we're not going to let a deal fall apart for something thats a relatively small part of the economy?

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

What on earth is going on in the Labour Party? We might as well not have an opposition. Labour run Greenwich Council closing schools saying Public Health England advised them immediate action was needed. Labour mayor, Sadiq Khan, requesting the government close all schools as numbers are...

How long can we keep Hamer?

Why do we have to try and find the negative in everything. The bloke has only been here 5 months and played just 13 games but it seems some people are willing the club to sell him in January so they can have something to moan about. We all know our best players are likely to leave at some...

They sometimes rerun significant events on BBC Parliament and it really hammers home how the quality of politicians and debate has rapidly deteriorated.
