If he wanted to go to join a team in a higher league on better wages then we were never going to hold onto him. We are where we are at present, a skint 3rd division (League One) club, with almost certainly the least successfull owners in the league structure, and definitely the most unpopular.

It would never be Northampton. They are either in the process of developing or have further developed their ground to a higher capacity, and have tried and successfully played bigger games at the MK Dons stadium. As for Wasps, they have always been and always will be a London club, not midlands...
