    Biamou - new contract

If we stay up we need to move Baka and Biamou on. I like Max and he has improved a lot since we signed him. If we get relegated there maybe a case for offering a new contract. Mind you he might be ridiculously cheap? Who knows?

    Flatter to Deceive

The real point of this thread is not to criticise James. Grendel is actually having a go a Robins without mentioning his name. Grendel is still smarting over his "Taxi for Robins" thread which nosedived because Robins got us promoted as Champions. Grendel is desperate for Robins to fail.

    Model after Brentford?

But the Sunderland model is not working at all.

    Pask and Baka

Any player coming in needs game time to really get up to speed. Some are lucky and get an easy ride for a couple of games. Fullback /wingback is one position where you can get exposed to a roasting. Even targeted by teams as a possible weak link. Pask is playing out of position so we have...

    Flatter to Deceive

Perhaps a slightly longer and more detailed post could have painted a clearer picture of your views. Another angle Grendel and I accept this is just speculation like most things on here. Kelly's contract is up in the summer and we don't know what his intention is? Or what offers might come...

His post was ambiguous to say the least. He hopes the past gives him a rock solid argument, but of course it doesn't.

Yet people say the results arent good enough and we are in a relegation battle? Your logic is strange at times.

    Poor January transfer window.

Are you fed up of being Grendel?

    Flatter to Deceive

Can I remind you of one of your own posts. Without knowing what the contract is and how much we are actually paying it is hard to judge who is actually good value and poor value. You would prefer an experienced striker, but perhaps we couldn't attract one. We desperately need experience at...

    Poor January transfer window.

Our two main loans were good business and as good as we could expect on our budget. The two youngsters for the future were a bonus and worth a punt. Eccles coming back in is a good addition to the bench with our injuries. Ideally I think he would have benefitted more from another loan...

No this is what is really tripe: "Ok for picking their wages up though."

    Michael Rose

It was a really good ball in which resulted in the classic make it hard for defenders - edge of 6 yard box facing own goal being forced to play ball because attackers coming in behind. I think Rose is unfortunate there especially with lack of minutes and games. Did what he had to do after...

I would always rather have points in hand rather than games in hand in a relegation fight. We will lose games but so will the teams around us. We have to just keep chipping away and forget the games that have gone. We need to get back to being hard to break down, especially away from home...

    Flatter to Deceive

It is still eary days for James and Gyo getting to know what their team mates do and don't do. It takes time to blend into a team and have a real impact. I think James is the sort of player who wont necessarilly catch the eye and stand out. But the team will miss him when he is not there.

If Bournemouth are still in the Championship when the parachute payments run out - that is when it will get interesting.

I have never understood why a keeper is the only player allowed to jump into a player with his knee raised.

Season in Northampton did it for me realising Saturdays could mean something different. Football was not the be all and end all. Plus the ridiculous amounts of money top teams were spending. Always liked going to away matches as defeat was easier to cope with as football was part of a day...
