Wasn't there buses run from all over the city when the stadium opened as part of the green travel plan for something ridiculous like 75% of people not using cars.
Why did they all get abandoned? Have a feeling it was a requirement of the original planning permission for it to be in place on...
I live in Finham and get the same. Appreciate there's a lot more trouble in other parts of the city but moving from Portsmouth it has been very noticeable, and I wouldn't exactly class Portsmouth as a great place to live.
One thing that has really stuck out since moving back is not seeing any...
Appreciate the point they're trying to make is its a worse problem than most people are aware of but I struggle to believe those figures, especially at a time when we're all locked up in our houses.
Couldn't agree more. The whole crowd dispersal plan from the Ricoh needs looking at. The fence is ridiculous. It blocks people, including those with limited mobility, from getting to their vehicles, it blocks some vehicles from moving at all and there is repeated problems at the end of the...
I don't get why people get so wound up about masks. Are there people who get that wound up about having to wear trousers when they go out?
Fear we won't learn anything from this. Asian countries seem to have no issue with masks since SARS but we will go back to how we were with people coughing...
My actual feed is OK, pretty much just football, cricket and hockey stuff with a few random actors & musicians thrown in. Have to avoid clicking on the trending topics, so easy to find you've lost an hour and got yourself worked up for no reason.
Did make me laugh that Street is sending out Facebook posts making out he pretty much single handedly sorted out the return while Boddy and Vaughn are both saying he set up an initial meeting a year ago and that's it.
Its on that industrial estate, there's a few places for parking there I think. Although did the hotel planning application ever go through? If it did then part of that area is being redeveloped.
Where are the offices on the south east corner? Never noticed anything there.
Good news and they've also slipped in about extending the deal with Hummel.
I expect it to be open for one game before the safety group shut it down as its near the away fans :ROFLMAO:
When Wasps closed their shop right before this I did wonder if the plan was a joint shop and ticket office in town. I know we used to have a shop and closed it down as it wasn't making enough money but with so many empty units in town you'd assume rents have dropped.
They do the 50/50 on match day but it’s poorly implemented. Don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone selling tickets. They clearly don’t sell many as the prize is lower than at Blaze games!
Wonder where it will be. Given Wasps have closed the shop they had is it going to be a combined store, on the one hand makes sense, on the other to keen on walking into our club shop and seeing a load of Wasps stuff.
If we're closing sections off can we have the type of coverings we've seen used by clubs during covid rather than the black netting. Looks way better. Appreciate there's a cost involved but as you say if you get them sponsored and it should be workable.
Hopefully now everyone is acting like...
Does freedom of information cover parking tickets? Could fire in a request for how many were given out in the restricted area on dates for our games and Wasps games.
The scientists are speaking a lot more cautiously than Johnson.
The announcement of the roadmap out of lockdown seems to have been taken by some as a signal to relax, definitely noticed a change since then.
Hope we don’t see the numbers starting to go back up in a couple of weeks as we’ve now...
