    When it all calms down.

Well, not quite. I’m a bit flummoxed by the vitriol people displayed. As I say, it was yesterday. We all need to move on.

I think we need to cut BSB some slack. It was yesterday when he posted and we all felt so low.

Once it goes to penalties some poor bugger on either team will miss. Dabo may need a break. I have a feeling he’ll come back stronger in his whole game.

    When it all calms down.

Great post. Plus, most of us were rooting for us to do the unthinkable, to the unwelcome point of penalties. We had the bonus of seeing our team at Wembley and then, as you say, we move on to next season with optimism.

My son 31. had a heart rate monitor and tracked the game. 94bpm minimum, 183 Haymer goal, VAR, then penalties 190+. Horrible experience for all of us. I had no real conviction that we would win on penalties. But we dust ourselves down and go again. The dream goes on.

    Extract from the Athletic

Just saw this. Alluded to on CWR yesterday. To begin with, the winners of the play-off final usually pay the losing team a share of their gate receipts. This is a traditional gentlemen’s agreement, which is usually in the region of £2m. Huddersfield went one further than that six years ago...

The Rebuild- Around Hamer and Sheaf

We need taller, faster players if we are to go up and stay there. Not just taller than MR either! Seeing the size of the guys Luton have and the size of some in the Everton vs Bournemouth game. They look a couple of inches taller than our players.
