If We Hadn't Got Rid of Richardson....

Only just read this thread today, but thinking about it, this must surely rank as the most singular event that has caused our downfall. Richardson's folly..

Have We Been Closed Down Then?

If I issue a winding up order against a company that owes me money, and the Telegraph reports on it in the same way, and then the Company subsequently pays up... was the report BS, or a factual representation of what could happen? Of course it was never going to result in being wound up, but...

    That's Mowbray Off, Then..

In my early days at the Jaguar, we had a book in the office to minute anything stupid said by colleagues. It was all in good fun, although some always tried to come up with a "good reason" for stating something ridiculous, which made it even funnier, as the "good reasons" were then minuted too...

Have We Been Closed Down Then?

Jack, the meeting with RBC must have taken place between 2nd & 5th March, as TF clearly stated in his meeting with the SCG.. of course, he had to squeeze in the meeting with SAG too during those few days. He had a busy week by the look of it

Well, that depends.... The SCG Meeting was on 5th March, and this was in the minutes... So, he had been very clear at a SAG meeting that talks with RBC had happened.. I don't know when that meeting was held, but clearly there was only days for the meeting with RBC, and then the SAG, for it...

Yes, country pub is my limit too. I'm wondering though, my local was the Live and Let Live, so town was quite peaceful really, in comparison... ;)

Back to the Bad old Days in Coventry

I never said I didn't see it, or occasionally involved too, I said I don't recall worrying about it. It just never entered my mind when going "up the town" only when something actually occurred. Even then, you'd be back up there the next night. Sad if it is getting as bad now though

Back to the Bad old Days in Coventry

It's funny, the 70's was my "town" period, and although it was rough, I never really worried about it much, only the odd occasion when as a long haired youth, i turned the corner just as a crowd of skin heads were coming the other way....!!! I wouldn't go near the place at night now, as I'm...

Agreed, he is in the wrong. It's true, Top Gear will not be the same without him, but no doubt a similar type of show will pop up soon enough.... Sympathy not required here, move on.. :)
