    Crowd trouble

This is the problem, we don't seem to have basic event management in place at the stadium for some reason. Try going to another event and sitting in the wrong seat or standing in the stairwells / walkways - you'd quickly be moved. We don't get the basics right and it all stems from there.

    Crowd trouble

Would the obvious solution not be for them to buy tickets in blocks 14 & 15? Looking now for the West Brom and Stoke games and there's more tickets available in those blocks than pretty much anywhere else in the East Stand.

    Crowd trouble

Very very few other clubs put fences up in the car park, have ridiculously over the top searches & ticket checks or direct fans to meet up seemingly happy for trouble to take place as long as its off the footprint of the arena. I'd be more than happy to see matchday at the CBS operate in a...

    Migrants crossing from Europe

According to the government there were 29,456 asylum applications in 2020. Can't give you any breakdown on unsuccessful applicants but Migration Observatory have some info on successful applications. In 2020 5,400 family reunion visas were issued, a 27% drop from the previous year. There was...

    SISU Back your man...

You're in a dreamland if you think Robins is just going to be handed a pile of cash to spend in January. The question for me is will the owners be able to come up with the money if Robins makes a specific request as he's identified an issue that needs addressing. The problem with 'backing your...

    This forum - perspective

Its interesting how quickly expectations changes. After pre-season it was talk of almost certain relegation and some of the players, such as Moore & Gyokeres, were getting a lot of stick for not being up to Championship level. Less than 20 games later and the season would be a disaster if we...

    Migrants crossing from Europe

Can you explain how you can legally claim asylum in the UK without entering the country? The 'why do they all want to come to the UK' question doesn't stand up to scrutiny when you look at the number trying to claim asylum here compared to other countries. In a lot of reports we're so far down...

    Their Red Card

Can't see it being overturned. If it was the other way round we'd have been moaning on the night but once you saw the replay you can't really object. Doesn't it have to be an obvious error to win an appeal? Would only really work if they were claiming it wasn't a foul at all. If they're...

    Wasps downward spiral...

If you look into the flying airport thing its not actually what they're making out. I know that will come as a shock given its being pushed by Wasps and the Telegraph. Its a temporally proof of concept / exhibition. And it was supposed to be there for a few weeks in November 2021 so unless its...

    Kyle Rittenhouse

Oddly, well for us not the US, he was originally charged with gun possession as well, due to being under 16, but that was dropped as it seems military-style semiautomatic rifles aren't classed as guns due to the length of the barrel! Not only did he get a not guilty on homicide he also got a...

    Wasps downward spiral...

Speaking of which what happened to the hotel that was being built on the car park? The one that had to be rushed through planning by the council to be ready for city of culture. Always remember when one of their directors dropped his guard not long after the move and described Wasps as a...

Just googled it, not nice is it?! Bit odd the story about it being designed for, and rejected by, Venezia and then ending up as your 3rd kit.

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

Lets hope so. Although looking at the graphics in that article while Germany is being labelled a disaster zone with lockdown imminent their stats aren't that dissimilar to ours. Although unfortunately for them the numbers over there seem to be increasingly rapidly unlike ours but should be a...

I know we live in a clickbait world but you can't not click on something like this. The speech was 'interesting'.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

It seems badly thought out with lots of loopholes. That normally means that those that can afford accountants can exploit the loopholes for their own benefit while the rest of us have to pay. Its not an easy problem to solve but according to the chap from Age UK this morning the average cost...
