Oxford Fleetwood, Pompey would be crazy to vote to play on. Under PPG they have play offs guaranteed and 2/3 wins means promotion. If they play on they have to play 9 games to even qualify for play offs and could drop out of the running.

A six team mini league ( for teams 3rd to 8th) would work and be done in 16 days - Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday, Wednesday, Sunday. All teams play each other, so 5 games each. Final Sunday games played simultaneously. Could be done on 3 neutral grounds. Top placed team promoted.

Hit the PAUSE button on the season and restart it once the worst is passed. Only take 5 weeks in May, June, July or August. Then give players 2-3 weeks off and start the next season. Why are we so obsessed with calendars. Simple and no arguments or legal challenges. Same for schools...
