The media has brainwashed everyone into believing that the election will be deadlocked and the SNP will hold the balance of power. I disbelieve the opinion polls and think the Tories will win a small but workable majority and it won't matter which fringe party anyone votes for.

In my experience even if a chippy is 'open' that early the food is rarely ready. I usually give it an extra half hour.

The Age of Empires rehash was a disaster. Glitch-ridden from the start, it was supposedly rendered in HD but apart from some unconvincing animation, it was was just zoomed-out from the original images. There were countless updates and it was hit & miss whether it would load properly next time...

I miss batter that's been properly cooked, it's often hard to tell these days where the batter ends and the fish begins. When I was a kid we used to go on coach trips from Coventry to Drayton Manor and Wickstead Park, they served the best fish & chips I've ever tasted.

Correct. Britain is one of the few countries which will not be airing the worldwide simulcast. It's not such a big deal though. The programme doesn't start until the early hours of the morning (our time) and I often wait until the next day before downloading the web version and watching that.

Ah, I didn't know that. Thanks for confirming it. HBO is a bit funny about who they allow to watch it online. In the USA cable subscribers are allowed to download the show for free but others aren't.

The TV commercial seems to imply that the 'latest' episodes will also be available on NowTV but I can't find any confirmation of that on their website. Does anyone know if this will be the case?
