    Close, but no cigar

Many moons ago, father-in-law used to do the ITV 7 every Saturday. He got 6 correct once, and they paid out £400 odd. The horse that let him down won 17 of its 18 races..... Brigadier Gerard? Only one it lost was in his bet. He could of won hundreds of thousands if it had won.

    A Rare Success Story

Went for a meal at the Hickory Smokehouse (Peeping Tom) last Friday. Must say, I liked it. I asked the waiter a question about the beef brisket, and he went and brought me a sample of it to taste. Ordered it, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Daughter loved it too. Atmosphere good, service very good...

    Something to rally the troops...

I'm all for managers being honest, but I'd rather he said nothing than stuff like that. Sounds like a man who isn't getting the job to me.

That is indeed the 4A and the correct colour, it's a very late one. They stopped making them in 67. Although, the reflector on the front wing behind the wheel isn't standard fit.

What has been your musical path?

That's true. A mate of mine bought 2 ZZ Top albums from a little record shop in Luxembourg. They were pretty much unknown at the time, and he was thrilled to get these albums. He didn't stop going on about it the whole trip back. Not the same when you can just press the "buy" button...

What has been your musical path?

I don't think my musics tastes have changed over the years, just grown. What I mean is, I still like all the stuff that I started with, Stones, Beatles, Small faces, Faces, Kinks, Move, Free etc but others were added to those I already liked as they came along. Sabbath made a huge impact on me...

    Wasps breach agreement with bondholders

Agree with most of this, but... I don't think the club will own it, it will be sisu, or one of the other companies. Even If it was them or someone completely new, the rent could still go up, so we could be worse off. Too many unknowns of course to know either way, but as you said, it's not...

The Walking Dead - Season 7

If only they had thought to burn the weapon stock list.... What an unfortunate oversight....

    Things that annoy you

When you go to an exhibition at the NEC etc, and people have those pop up trolley's, and then proceed to drag them over your feet while they cut across the gangway, and leave them sticking out into the aisle while they have a nosey at a stall, and then push them over your feet as they "reverse"...
