Collectively they are. Take Sheaf out of it and we had an injury ravaged Stoke side and Bristol absolutely dominate that area of the pitch.

But your starting XI includes two players who have their fair share of injuries. I’d put money on at least one being out for a decent time before January. Torp also yet to convince many, no proof he can do it consistently at this level.

So you’re saying that our midfield is fine but have listed Sheaf as a starter (almost guaranteed to get injured) and Torp who has also had quite a number of injuries since joining.

Name one side aspiring for promotion that would start Eccles, Allen or Torp?

I am not naive enough to think that Robins has 100% control on what happens with transfers anymore. So while I trust MR 100%, not sure it is relevant. Also, not sure the Torp fee was that serious was it?

Yes, desperately. Eccles, Allen are not promotion chasing level players and Torp is yet to convince. We are relying on 1 player with a sketchy injury record to stay fit.

We’ve got good players in certain positions, but I wouldn’t say we’re a good team. We are desperately lacking in CM. We’ve had 3 windows to sort the midfield out now, and still haven’t. Can’t say I’ve got confidence it will be done in the next 7 or so hours.

No chance of top 6 if Sheaf gets injured. I’d go as far as saying outside chance if he does stay fit. Our midfield is piss poor.
