    Hamer

Yet ironically many on here thought he was a liability this time last season

    Transfer Rumour Yasin Ayari

Then it is strange when I suggested Hamer could play in a more advanced role in his first season many suggested his role was a defensive mid. Sheaf is a methodical player with a slower tempo. Eccles carries the ball and attacks space better than Sheaf. Hamer could switch play and had a longer...

    Hamer

It was hard for any Sheffield United player to shine today. United were obviously very mindful of their defensive duties, but I don't think they intended to be so much on the back foot? I think there was 15 minutes when they didn't get out their own half and it wasn't for the want of trying...

    Transfer Rumour Yasin Ayari

I think we need payers and he was brought in because he has a lot of ability and potential. Also the fact Brighton wants him to go out on loan and get game time is a big factor. Obviously Brighton trust our coaching team as well.

    Transfer Rumour Yasin Ayari

I haven't and if you read my previous posts I rate him. To be honest he could have been dog shit yesterday and I would not be writing him off based on one cameo appearance. It was just an observation about what I saw. 3 of his passes were some of our best all game into the Sunderland penalty...

    Hamer

I think you will find Blackburn won 1-0 😉 and yes Sheffield United almost got a draw

    Transfer Rumour Yasin Ayari

I am saying managers have their own ideas. Certain players can adapt to different roles. What we had on the bench yesterday Ayari was the best option to replace Palmer. When OHare is back he may not be? But even if Ayari is played deeper he will have to work harder and break out of walking...
  8. Hobo

    Hamer

But domination and spurned chances doesn't decide matches it never has. Blackburn smash and grabbed at Watford.

    Transfer Rumour Yasin Ayari

And before Hamer came to Cov he had played in a 10 role on numerous occasions. However it was a long time before we played him in advanced positions. Sheffield United definitely see him in that role, although know he can track back and will. They will let him naturally drop deep and defend...

    Transfer Rumour Yasin Ayari

You need to engage your brain. Just because the next signing plays in midfield it doesn't mean he is Hamers replacement? I doubt whether MR's expects to find clones of Hamer and Gyokeres anyway? Nothing could hamper your rebuild more, because you won't find them. You are just looking to...

    Transfer targets

With McFadz being the only one from last season in the back three, I understand why MR hasn't chopped and changed. Don't worry about Bings he will get his chance and I wonder if it is McFadz keeping him out at the minute. Sakamoto offers versatility in a number of positions. Da Silva and MVE...

    Transfer targets

It is easy to sign players, but difficult to sign the right players. We need the right players to come in, not just bodies that tick the we have signed a player box.

    Liam Kitching

Certainly the next Captain. To be honest I think he would be comfortable in any of the back three slots. He may be stronger with his right foot but is very comfortable with both. Which is refreshing to see.

    Long throws

There is a time and a place for it. But if you become over reliant on it, it is just another form of hoof ball.

So you need a left footer at LCB? Joel Latibeaudiere vs. Sunderland: 97% pass accuracy 11 passes into the final third 3/3 aerial duels won 100% tackles won 1 interception 3 clearances 1 block 6 ball recoveries

    We don't create enough

I think OHare will need some careful management. It is tough psychologically coming back from such a long layoff. He isn't necessarily going to just hit the ground running.

    We don't create enough

It's not necessarily a bad thing see my other post

    We don't create enough

Certain positions require high energy levels. AM and the WB's.arevthecobvious ones. Teams often sub these positions to keep the energy levels up. It can be a reflection on the tactics rather than the players.

    We don't create enough

And Ayari he played two lovely weighted balls in behind the defence. He needs to work harder out of possession and learn how to find pockets of space more often. But was impressed with what I saw today, there is a good player in there.
