Many people did say it at the start of the season, but Doug is ultimately the most important opinion because he is where investment lies. It worries me because personally I believe we need (better) investment. I hope he understands that whoever he brings in will need it.

That’s what annoys me. In the first ten mins, I could see how it would play out. Why not back your team and attack the game. There wasn’t anything to lose.

Defeat isn’t. The performance and tactics were just lacking that it reduces any morale.

We seem to have really lost the ability to counter. At our best in the past couple of seasons it was a real strength.

Not just the result, but the pattern of play and the set up. Such a standard game with a lack of ambition.

Hate these sort of games. You could have predicted how it would have gone within the first 5 minutes.
