Now you’re just being ridiculous. One, it’s not a crime to mutter under your breath that you want to kill someone. Inciting violence by having a public call for the slitting of throats is, the same as planning to set fire to an Islamic centre. Are you a lawyer? Or from a law background?

See now I don’t know if I believe you were ever in the police force 🤣

He has more influence than the average man or woman. I don’t care about the context. They’re both as bad as each other.

A councillor who would have more influence than most got on a microphone telling people to slit throats… I don’t care who the audience are. Was he guilty in your eyes?
  6. SHUNT31

    Embarrassing

Which begs the question, why were the others advised to plead guilty?

It’s an entirely separate issue. What were the political alignments of the jury? Was the legal advice given to the others poor?

So two-tier really is a thing?
  13. SHUNT31

    Embarrassing

Fair enough, but that’s not the issue here.

Agreed he deserved to be sent down. Do you not agree that the child groomer, which I don’t think anyone can argue, is just as awful, should have been sent down too?

    Embarrassing

I don’t think the issue is with the Englishman being sent to jail. But why was a child groomer spared prison?
  16. SHUNT31

    Embarrassing

I agree there’s a difference. But by your reckoning, he deserved jail regardless of how he plead? I would argue that being a important figure in your community, with significant influence and shouting for people to slit throats is much worse, imo

    Embarrassing

Do you believe Ricky Jones deserved to go to jail then?
  18. SHUNT31

    Embarrassing

What have I ever said that’s racist?
  19. SHUNT31

    Embarrassing

I have never thought or denied that it happens both ways… not sure how it’s relevant to me?

Maybe being labelled far right by people like you and our government, even though my political views are clearly centre, makes me view things that way?
