Not really. There’s so many factors at play that you cannot judge a player based on a team performance. Ben Wilson got a golden glove in 22/23, was he the best keeper in the league? I doubt he would have been top 10.

Haji played on the left for a large portion of that. Better way would be to look at big chances missed and % conversion rate, but you wouldn’t want to do that as it would highlight Simms being one of the worst strikers in the whole league.

Exactly this! We are much more dominant when he’s not playing. There’s a reason he didn’t play in the playoffs and it is nothing to do with appearances. He puts us under so much pressure against the better sides as nothing sticks to him and in turn we get pinned in. Boro at home perfect example...
