    The grass was not greener

Not sue I'd agree re: Leon Best - financially he probably ended up better off. Agree with the other two. Ben Stevenson - definitely George Thomas - perhaps, but long term i think he'll do ok Paul Dyson - never really did much after he left us Tommy English - can't even remember what happened to...

    Players with erm.. rude surnames

Remember fantasy football during world cup one year where 3 of the back four consisted of something like Huge, Hairy, Arse ( obviously wasn't those names, but something akin to that?)

    Solutions to complete the Season

Unfair on the top half teams who will have done well to get where they are in the first half of the season. E.g. If you are 12th of 24 teams at ha;f way point, the team who finished 13 would have the second half of the season to play the weaker teams and would almost certainly accrue more points...

City's Hardest XI - Take No Prisoners

Played Birmingham at Highfield Road, and a Blues player tried to get at at Ian Wallace iirc. Out came Jim Holton's arm. End of intended assault on Wallace! Also - Donal Murphy gets a mention for getting sent off for kicking a Blues player in the unmentionables. Funniest thing I'd ever seen on a...

    Can we help CCFC?

. .... Be honest - you don't know that. Don't like SISU and what they have previously done with the club, but let's not pretend that none of our money currently supports the football club. Out of interest - and I haven't looked at your previous posting - have you been attending games? If the...

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

Really - on what basis? The only rationale for that would be if the government slashed the school's in year budget (which would be unprecedented) and make it a fait accompli that the school couldn't afford to pay you. That would be political dynamite, surely. Really can't believe that would...

    Can we help CCFC?

I'd stump up £200 deposit towards an 'early' season ticket, if it helps the club's cashflow.
