    Your own new political party

Not condemning all, but I do wonder what the percentage is of the real "needy" versus the scroungers. I have no idea of course, but I don't know anyone that would have to use a food bank, other than it's a cheap way of getting food, innit... ;) Oh, except for my daughter. She uses my place as...

    Your own new political party

But his point is valid all the same. Growing up, my dad had a job, but my mum had to work part time in the evenings for us to get by. I remember our first TV being delivered when I was about 7 (rental of course) We had sweets from my dad every Thursday night. That was it. He struggled to buy a...

    Hilarys Blinds

Nope, price straight out of their book The blinds are the vertical type, so not expensive anyway, but she wanted all windows covered with something, and hadn't got cash to spare. They did a good and quick job fitting them. included the front quite big door and side panel, and patio doors at the...

    Hilarys Blinds

My daughter had blinds fitted all over her new house a couple of years ago. Used Coventry Blinds I think (Bell Green?) Got the lot supplied and fitted for less than you have been quoted. But, bay window? forget it with blinds.

    Hilarys Blinds

That price doesn't seem to bad. Depends on the drop too, and isn't blackout liner more expensive? The aluminium tracks are more expensive, and supposedly much better too. I had a quote for something similar recently from a local curtain specialist, and it was more expensive than that. My son had...

    How shit is this?

I had a brand new router from BT a few months ago that turned out to have issues. They replaced it (after needing a lot of convincing) and the replacement works a treat.

What are you currently listening to?

Saw Jethro at Wembley Arena in his prime. Seats were way up in the gods, so not the best view, but the "passive" smoking up there was very....trippy.. ;)

What are you currently listening to?

haha, thats great NW. I enjoy finding songs done in a different way. Some are complete crap of course, but entertaining anyway. We had a toy lion, that when you walk by it, it starts singing "the lion sleeps tonight". My grand-daughter loved it, so I googled the song and found lots of different...

    General Election

No? you don't have a problem with Corbyn's links to the IRA, because it isn't "current" yet you do have a problem with Gerry Adams... Look, it's quite simple. I have a problem with him being PM (or leader of Labour) because of his past. Clearly many don't. That's fine, I'm not trying to...

    General Election

So, I guess you didn't vote for either of them then?

    General Election

If May attends the funerals of their killers, yep, I will. Still find it odd that people excuse Corbyn's past with the IRA. Of course, if it had been May that had done those things, then I would bet good money those same people would be equally damning about her for having done it. If he...
