What got us back from Northampton..

Yeah pretty much agree. I think SISU knew by then that the battle was lost anyway. If NOPM had any bearing at all it was simply that at that point, with nowt left to fight for and the door possibly closing, why not come back and benefit from larger gates.

Philosopher... I have no problem with your OP but it does seem that you've used the thread to push your own political views. Why bring up UKIP up at all? Surely you would be extremely nieve not to expect a reaction? Having said that, I bear you no ill will and look forward to constructive...

Wow, are we not even going to attempt accuracy? Who did I call a racist? Please show me that post. I did call Ron an Oaf I'll admit, but that is based on a whole lot more than this thread. Are we really that sensitive? Can I ask on what basis you call my opinion uninformed? To be honest...

I thought we were talking about UKIP? You're obsessive hatred for labour does not help with objectivity.

So then... a party that has learned from past failings, appears to be inclusive, has distanced itself from the BNP, has made every effort to be squeaky clean and acceptable to mainstream voters? You can polish a turd but it's still a turd. Everyone with the slightest moral integrity knows what...

    Waggott told to sack Pressley

Yes he must must be envious of all those managers with pots of cash to spend spend spend! As I've said before, there are managers throughout the divisions doing great jobs on a shoestring. Compare him to his peers, not some fantasy league please.

    Waggott told to sack Pressley

Whether or not its true I just wish he'd find the humility to look in the mirror, recognise that the bloke looking back is an enthusiast but not a manager and fuck off!

Its nothing to do with democracy Ron, its a simple question; are you a racist or not? If you think it is undemocratic of me to despise racism you have misunderstood democracy.

    That'll be yes then.

A democracy that doesn't allow opinions, interesting. Just out of interest; are you a racist?

It is revealing that it's that sentence you took issue with. Are you UKIP curious Ron? But you are not a racist because you are friends with the bloke in the corner shop right? You have nothing against jonny foreigner as long they stop taking our jobs right? Yeah, I think I know the type.

    Simple yet unlikely solution

I expressed an opinion on a party I do not favour, what is wrong with that? No debate was stifled. Sounds to me like you are a little bit ashamed of being 'UKIP curious'? And so you should be in my opinion. Oaf.

I do believe in democracy, just not that keen on fascism with a false moustache. And I never mentioned racism, 'The Philosopher' did.

    Simple yet unlikely solution

Its hardly surprising that people are having a pop is it? You mentioned UKIP without a hint of irony, as if they are a serious option and you have no problem with their 'politics' and thus destroy any credibility your OP had. And on top of this you call yourself The Philosopher! Oh dear.

    makes you angry

Why are you angry? Because Derby are in a higher division?

New stadium - Okay, let's just suppose for a moment

In this division? With this manager? With this appalling football? Just because SISU have gone?

New stadium - Okay, let's just suppose for a moment

    Is it further than Northampton?

New stadium - Okay, let's just suppose for a moment

SBK, are you seriously suggesting that 18-20k of the Gills crowd were loyal CCFC fans and the only thing preventing their attendance (which they managed to overcome on this occassion) is sisu? Really?

New stadium - Okay, let's just suppose for a moment

Erm... I believe SISU were in charge of the club when that game took place.

New stadium - Okay, let's just suppose for a moment

18-20k? All Sisu haters and just straining at the leash to come back? If you say so SBK.
