5m wage bill sounds about right. May even be ever so slightly lower. Our average wage would have been around 2k p/w bearing in mind the young age of the squad. These were the figures I was on about. (See below) Survival would be a good achievement next year!!

If we double our wage bill, according to something I saw re average wage from last years Champ, we are still looking at roughly the lowest wage bill. Think Rotherhams was 8-11k pw... they were lowest. Think that would be roughly where we'd sit if we quadrupled our average wage.... Food for thought.

We are going to be paying lowest wages in the league by far, unless Wycombe come up with us. The likes of Brunt will be on circa 60k pw....around our entire budget last year. we won't be getting any of the likes of Brunt.

How much money could they make by selling off land at the henley training site to housing developers? Reading between the lines I think that is what they will do. What other land could they sell/make money from? Think this is the route they will go down....

I heard, and it was also posted on here at some point that an events management company (AIG?? AEG??) were/have been interested in the Ricoh. Be typical City if Wasps do go bust and the Council "conveniently prefer" this type of business as new leaseholders... (or whatever they would be)

Don't think this helps us re Walsh. New manager will be keen to have a good look at his squad. From the outside he will have seen that Walsh cleaned up with the Club (CCFC) awards too. Just drags things out further... if there is anything to drag out....

Came through the youth system at the club Grendel. Fairly sure (without looking it up) that he did not make a 1st team appearance although may have appeared in a/some cup squads. Think he may have had a short professional contract here before being released and doing the non league rounds...

All sentiment aside, should the FA/EFL not follow their own rules and let the authorities deal with what looks like a bet that is being influenced or fixed for a better word....
