Best football penalty takers of all time

Farmer was wonderful. One of the few penalty takers that you absolutely knew was going to find the net (did he miss one? I can't recall that ).

    Helicopter crash at king power

I agree. But. Wouldn't you be concerned, given the circumstances? Not even slightly?

    Helicopter crash at king power

Doesn't mitigate the tragedy any, but we've just heard that the LCFC-supporting husband of a friend of my missus eventually turned up safe. She was beside herself last night as she couldn't raise him on the phone after the match. Turned out his phone had died during the game. She's told HE'LL...

Tough game. Leeds are no mugs (even if currently struggling) but we made it harder on ourselves with the usual string of errors. I'll take our start though, which beats that of any promoted side for a good many years. Also, one of those great Saturdays when both CRFC and CCFC win, and the other...

5-0. I'm not so good with those kind of guesses though.

Yes, I guessed pretty well eh? I'll give myself 8 out of 10 for that. Sam needs a rest TBF, but he'll come on at some point.

It was Stokes who declared himself fit. Pillock. Jeannot, Asbo, Gibbons Oram, Tongan* Makaafi, Peters**, Ram Kessell, Maisey Trimble, Stevens, ?, A. Bulumakau Fenner * New guy, name gone, too much rum tonight ** Peters took a smack tonight and may miss out. ? Ditto rum. Sam on bench.

Biyi on the bench on Sat, and Sharp dropped. Stokes and Halaifonua still out. Going to be a big ask given the level of changes we're having to make.

The Ealing result was no more than we could expect, all things considered, and i'm only disappointed that we didn't get within 10-15 points of them. It's a shame they couldn't respond more positively to the early 'easy, easy' chants from a few Ealing twats, and to the knob of an announcer who...

Huge lad. Been at Cov for a week or so, and was at Ealing on Sat. Apparently, until recently (when he spoiled it by cutting his fingernails and lost a few kg) he was the heaviest player in the prem (just another random fact ;) ).

Ram was a good shout for MoM, but White could have taken it too. Proper little terrier today. Just wish we'd have played against the wind in the first. I feel sure it would have been a 5-0.

He does seem to have been around forever. (Just turned 38 though, so about 18 months older than Sam T).

Fair enough. Beeb saying 15mph from the railway end. Never easy to decide which way to go first (assuming you get the choice). I'm going Cov by 20. Always the optimist. (Or fool).

Got to be the quickest back-three combination in the league. Hope we can utilize them. I thought the weather was supposed to be calming down somewhat tomorrow?

Captain's decision, not Maisey's. Can't fathom him sometimes though (Maisey). Had a chance to cement his position, and blew it. I know we all have off days, but that was a stinker. Next weekend's reaction defines the season now. Really missed Boults out there.

Sounds to me like there's been a rethink/realignment of job descriptions, hence the delay in announcing Brown's arrival. Johnston's a rugby man first and foremost, but perhaps he's been hiding his other light, as it appears he's taken on quite a bit of the responsibility initially marked-out for...

Secretly pleasedfor Will as he's done absolutely nothing wrong, and now has a chance to play an absolute blinder (which I'm sure he will). With Fenner as back-up, if needed, there are two very stron half-back pairings available. Of course, Fenner could be used to replace either winger, or slot...

Too many injuries. They need him available. I'd start with Kessell, personally, but there are arguments both ways. I reckon Pete is arguably sharper atm, so good to have him as backup in case they need to mix it up with a more unpredictable half-back pairing. One thing's certain though, JS...
