Match Thread Coventry City - Sheffield Wednesday Match Thread - Tuesday 26th Dec

I didn't see the incident as I was too busy standing up and cheering the victory. But these things rarely get overturned, so I suspect we will just have to suck up the punishment.

Great away point that. Good tactics and a lot of graft from the players.

    Josh Eccles

I think he just needed a rest. Our options in midfield have been limited due to injuries. I think he is a good player who is still developing.

    Home attendances

Some of us remember 14,000 when we were in the top division.

Hmm according to this website Binks is our highest earner….

Is it based on his parent club wage though rather than just our contribution?

    The fee for Liam Kitching

Panzo was a poor centre back. He got away with a lot early on but got found out as the season went on.

    Transfer targets

Lots of people think the owner at Nottingham Forest is bringing in too many players and hindering Cooper by not giving the players time to gel? Lst season Forest stayed up on form after Christmas.

    Transfer targets

Because anyone with half a brain cell knows it takes time for players to settle. Especially when they have come from abroad. We brought a lot of new faces in during the summer. We are not even half way through a season yet. It was obvious it would be second half of the season before we could...

    Mowbray Sacked

Reading have had 7 managers since August 2020. They are flying so must be the way to go?

    We Need Scary Players

Over the years we have had too many scary players: atrocious passing, calamitous defending 😂.

Dave Boddy leaving in January - John Taylor in!

He gave his notice months and months ago.

    Jake Bidwell - Rolls Royce

Why? Fullbacks in a back four have always been attacking options overlapping the midfield. Look at City fullbacks in the past, Mick Coop, Stuart Pearce, Bobby McDonald, Graham Oakley.... The thing with playing wing backs is you get extra men in midfield potentially, but in certain situations...

Yes, you have been in denial since League 2.

    Time to part ways…

ir i Take a look at some teams who have changed their managers after progress. They often go backwards for several seasons. We are in a rebuild which was needed. It will take time but things are not as bad as people are making out.

Match Thread Ipswich Town - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 2nd Dec

Ipswich are a very good team who are flying....just accept the fact. We have rebuilt and still finding our feet... Just accept the fact. It is small margins and we are going in the right direction. We were never going to replicate last season this season.

O'Hare is a Burden on the Team

I did say it is early days, but just commenting on what I saw..... I just think too many fans are expecting too much from him? Even before his injury he had areas of his game he needed to improve.

O'Hare is a Burden on the Team

It is early days after such a long injury for O'Hare. But watching him v Plymouth I am not sure that he is lacking fitness? Plenty of running constantly on the move, but he seemed stuck in second gear, lacking that sudden burst of energy to put the press on like he used to? Also there was one...

Match Thread Ipswich Town - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 2nd Dec

Ipswich are a good side who attack swiftly on the counter attack and good at finding men in the box and have a number who can convert chances. I would be very happy with a draw.

    Transfer Rumour Haji Wright

Exactly the same as Gyokeres, he liked to come in from the left, and Gyokeres missed plenty of one on ones last year. In fact most strikers will tell you, a one on one is the most difficult finish as you often have the time to over think it. The good thing about the Millwall game, he got into...
