And it is €9m not £9m

    Reflections on the January Window

There is no right or wrong you can't draw direct comparisons from one season to another too many variables. There are pros and cons with big and small squads. For instance you could be well covered in one position and short in another. But depending on how injuries fall, you could still end...

    Free Agents

You are over-simplifying it. There is a big difference between someone becoming a free agent at the end of a season then going into a full pre season with a new club. Most free agents in January were free agents in the summer and those that were not free agents usually have had zero game time...

    Centre forward problem

You forgot Mick Ferguson played around 134 games scored 54 goals. Ian Wallace 130 appearances with 58 goals. I don't know but would guess Ferguson had the most assists?

Most players don't support the team they play for shock!! Although many have a soft spot and affinity for some clubs they played for. Judging by David Speedie's social media posts it is; Chelsea, Blackburn and then Coventry. It is their job and just work to them. Their affection for clubs...

Bedwetters guide to Summer 2024 departures

Astute's comment was obvious sarcasm to the one's who were bedwetting when the team needed time to gel.

    Ben Sheaf

Premiere League Clubs spending was down £715 million this January window compared to last season. It is not a given it will be any different in the summer?

Let's hope we don't end up in the Premier League then.

Kitching got caught woefully out of position up the field in first half and didn't bust a lung to get back either.

If Torp turns out to be a McAllister, or a Dean Emerson or a fit Stuart Robson we will have bagged a bargain.

He was very much a meat and potatoes player. But could pick a pass and his decision making was very good. Kept it simple but effective.

Video Norwich City v Coventry City highlights

Torp seems to be settling in more quickly than I dared hope for? He looks a very good signing. Wright and Palmer were kept out when we were down to 10 men by two very good saves by Gunn. Kitching perhaps should of stayed on his feet?Sometimes it is better to put the attacker under pressure by...

Perhaps I saw Lee Carsley differently to you. He was a very good passer of the ball. Let's not forget he went on to be part of a very good Everton midfield. Eustace achieved similar at Watford. I don't see either of those comparisons as in any way derogatory.

He is better off where he is, he will still get gamtine there, he wouldn't here.

Nobody knows yet what he plays like. But some of our fans are still looking for a clone of Gyokeres and Hamer. Also you only have to read this forum to realize how one person views a player to another is chalk and cheese. So far seems hardworking and workmanlike to me. Has some nice attributes...

    Reflections on the January Window

We had far more long term injuries to key players last year. Big squads mean more dissatisfied players, even if you have to call on them they aren't match fit. Facts are we have one player injured and one about to be suspended. Yes four months left of season, four months for Sheaf to get fit.

Match Thread Norwich City - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 3rd Feb

Let's face it Delilah creates more atmosphere heating up a bowl of soup. Norwich has never had atmosphere. They have always given the away fans a really shit view, can't even see half the goalline . Also one night game, no food - Cov fans on the road for four hours, absolute joke!

Just let him play how he plays. Why do you need comparisons to judge him?
