The best way to get rid of SISU

When times are hard and the future is bleak, that is the moment the club needs backing more than ever. Nobody finds it hard when you are successful, as the saying goes "failure is an orphan,"

The best way to get rid of SISU

Not the first time this has been put forward and would be a really effective way of displaying our love for the club but I don't think it will bring forward the exit date of the owners. One can but hope!

    Mixed Feelings

Sorry for your loss my fellow Sky Blue, go with your heart, we may lose the game but you can honour your son by creating a memory he would have cherished. I live in Riyadh but my home is in Bermuda, Nuneaton and I will be home for the final. I would raise a toast to their memories at Wembley and...

    I just dont care anymore

And so it goes around and around again...,,,,, I don't care if you are NOPM, shout it from the rooftops how you are saving the club. But why should generations of fans turn their backs on the team? hate the owners by all means but don't berate the fans for loving their club.

    I just dont care anymore

I think you mean you don't like the way things have turned out, rather than that you don't care? I am pretty sure that everyone who is a member of this band of brothers would agree with your sentiments (except RFC perhaps) if that was the case.

    Slade should stay

    1) How about getting someone in who can assess the team and who they would keep rather than waste the first ten games of next season and not be able to sign anyone as the window has closed 2) So the reason to keep Slade is so you can be vindictive, even if it hurts the club?

    Highfield Road -

Wesson was before my time but Bill Glazier was a top notch goalkeeper, he had a tendency to parry the ball ibut as a shot stopper he was first rate. He was in an era of super English stoppers and for me he was up there. That he was a world record transfer a goalkeeper shows how good he was.

    90th out of 92

I thought this was a premonition for May 2018.

    Highfield Road -

I was at this game, it was a world cup qualifier and a 1-1 draw. Despite the presence of two greats, one washed up and the other still the main man for Portugal, the loudest cheers were for Sky Blue great Dave Clements who was then a Sheffield Wednesday or Everton player.

    Slade

Nugent decided to stay at Charlton, nothing to do with Fisher. Slade was not enough to pull his man to join us.

    Sky blues in rouge

Shaking my head. So some wanted an experienced manager that didn't work so some want a young manager, some wanted experienced players, that didn't work so now we should go with young players. we wear sky blue, that didn't work so we should now wear red to send a message to unite us? WTF is...

    Slade

I can see an argument for parting company with Slade, his record is appalling and shows no sign of improving. Apart from Beavon his choices of transfers in are questionable and I can't see any point in keeping him. But......what will be gained by him going? possibly we won't be playing so much...

    Welcome to the shadowplay

So many were wanting Russell Slade as he was perceived to have the attributes you want in a league 1 & 2 manager. That didn't work out well did it? I have read on here that so many family are being wheeled out for the day I suspect that half or more of us will be looking at the other half...

    Welcome to the shadowplay

If we could guarantee avoiding relegation then I would take that over a trip to Wembley even for the FA cup final but that's not realistic so we should take whatever crumbs are on the table. I am sure that a day out will be enjoyed but the bitter taste of relegation is still going to be there.

    Checkatrade Final Rant

No, I am going to Wembley to support my hometown club that I have followed since 1967, Why do you belittle our club anymore than the owners have done. I suspect you are trying to justify your own stance.

Heard your fans want Bradley Lowery to lead you out at Wembley . . .

I have nothing against anybody at Sunderland and think that the club and the premier league rivals have been magnificent towards Bradley. We have Zoe's Place in Coventry and it would be more fitting if the children from there were leading out CCFC, giving our own something to look forward to and...

    Checkatrade Final Rant

I will get to work on drawing up the questionnaire then and seek volunteers for the panel.

    Fisher

No just made an observation. I don't see evidence attacking by anyone on here, its the internet, its a forum to voice their opinions as you do yours. It really isn't worth descending to the level of abusing each other and if you aren't happy with the response then defend your position through...
