    Norwich in for Robins....

If I am not mistaken you are saying that discussions have been held for Robins and he is buying a house in Great Yarmouth?

Bryan King (ex Coventry City keeper) is turning 70

Sure was and a great day out, we took a lot of fans and if my memory serves me right burnley were long relegated

Bryan King (ex Coventry City keeper) is turning 70

Yes as has been said he was blighted by injury but I remember his debut V Everton at Goodison and a 4-1 win with a David Cross hat trick. We didn't expect that result on the way up, we were expecting a drubbing as we were so poor the previous season.

EXCLUSIVE: Coventry City chairman Tim Fisher dismisses takeover rumours and insists Mark...

The conundrum here is that we want things to get better but have a lack of faith in the owners to deliver us a better product. As supporters we want to feel pride in the club and that has been eroded away to such an extent that only tangible progress in communications and outcomes will restore...

    Administration raises its head again

As you well know we didn't sell highfield road in 2005. It was long before. There is zero chance of the club going in to voluntary liquidation. It is trading and its only debt is to its investors, it would be corporate suicide to take that course of action unless they are being chased by a...

Wasps billing CCFC for pitch repairs after Wycombe game

Yes let's take a break from the Ricoh! Are you seriously suggesting this is the best course of action for CCFC? The pitch was poor before the rugby season started and it certainly doesn't help but it's Wasps pitch and their ground and they can and increasingly will do what they want with it...

    Robins on Talksport very soon!

Robins was never going to say "they are shit owners but I need a job" ? Its purely playing to the crowd, both up to the owners and down to the fans, like what has been previously stated, if he gets results then he is a hero and most will gloss over the previous failures and if he fails then he...

    Oggy

Just asking a question! How much do you imagine Oggy earns on this gravy train? I have no idea myself but I have seen comments about him not earning his money etc.....and I am genuinely interested on what your perception is.

Robins leads us out at Wembley.

I if sisu had any inkling of PR they would hold a raffle of ticket buyers and get a season ticket holder to lead the team out at Wembley.

Exclusive - mark Robins to be named

I can understand why some on here are questioning why he would come back here. He is not in employment, his last roles were perceived as failures (or not successes) and he is seeking to rehabilitate himself in an environment he knows. We don't know his personal circumstances and I wouldn't...

    Slade gone

Slade was a shockingly bad choice in retrospect and I feel he was always pushing the shit back in. I wish the same action was taken on Fisher for his abysmal stewardship of our club. No lights on therefore no tunnel.

    More than a little concerned

Of course Wasps at the Ricoh has dumped more shit on our future. Undoubtedly and unequivocally, but I don't see them as the cause more the beneficiary of foolish owners intransigence.

    Nobody still believes surely ?

If only we had a manager like that Tony Mowbray we wouldn't be in this position!

    More than a little concerned

Something I have mentioned before, I think it is a risky strategy but one that would yield a reaction from some quarters. Not sure the investors know they are investing in CCFC though? That's where this falls down.it could be that you are an investor through a third party and know nothing about it.

    More than a little concerned

At the moment the 42 million sits in their investment portfolio. Take it out and it becomes a 42 million loss from their investment.
  16. NortonSkyBlue

    More than a little concerned

You invest, the hedge fund places the funds, you collect the dividends. Maybe their other funds are doing well so they spread the risk? The losses only become an issue once the investment is liquidated.
  17. NortonSkyBlue

    More than a little concerned

If they sell for 10 million then they have lost 32 million. If they hang on they have invested 42 million, lost nothing. There is no incentive to sell and sadly no incentive for anyone to take it off their hands.

Wembley protest option 2 - sit in

So you do nothing? A genius plan.

Wembley protest option 2 - sit in

So you are stating in your own words that fans potentially won't give a shit if Coventry City survive? You obviously don't care. I give a shit, I care about the club and don't want it to die. Rather than giving up, how about showing some spirit and do something that will give the club a chance...
