He's quite a good crosser - better than Thomas I suspect - but not quick enough to play out wide. His lack of over the ground speed is the most worrying aspect of his game

No Doyle or Ogogo in the team or subs..........

God knows what team to play........ Stay solid at back so I guess Sterling - Davies - Willis - Brown After that it's anyone's guess. Players do grow into positions, as you can see how attitudes to Sterling in particular but also Brown and even Bakayoko have changed. So I would stick with Ogogo...

No it doesn't. JCH on is own not working so had to be altered. There have been plenty on here who have said play Bayliss on the wing with two harder men in central midfield. Doyle injured. Sterling back = good. The only genuine surprise is Davies. The key thing will be how far UP the pitch...

    At home playing 4 1 4 1

I thought it was -4-5-1 as well At the least he could have left Shipley on the left and tried Hiwula up front with JCH

I agree with all of that. A Bayliss-Kelly-Doyle-Thomas has been the obvious choice for a couple of weeks now. Last Saturday Allessani did more than enough to warrant a longer sub appearance

We were beaten by the better (and physically bigger) side. 1-2 was flattering. Could have been worse. That it was going to be bad was obvious after as little as 5 minutes We set up as 4-5-1 - for a home match very defensive. Shipley and Hiwula were both on the left, but JCH all on his lonesome...

    Ratings v Luton

Brown was my man of the match best of a poor bunch. Extremely neat feet, plays ball to man, crosses with either foot, very quick to recover, good at holding the offside line. Positioning can go awry and a bit short, but I thought he played well particularly with Hiwula who should not have been...

What do people want the FA / EFL to do?

Can I ask a couple of dumb questions Regardless of historic debt, is the club running at a loss on its current incoming and outgoings including player transfer income/purchase cost? I assume it is, but would like it clarified. Secondly who is picking up the tab?

It might have been a man called Charles Hughes who was the leading FA coach in the late 50's early 60's iirc

When you have lost a couple as we have, a split develops between what we think the manager will pick and what we would choose ourselves - when you are winning there is little argument natch. Assumptions: Davies and Sterling available and Robins will be his usual conservative self, valuing...

Pretty scabby bunch, Chaplin against Posh, if only for Bakayoko's deft touch
