    Do we cheat???

Look how Norwich got promoted ! Grant Holt should be in the Olympics Diving Team ! Norwich play attractive football but also use gamesmanship to it's advantage.

I've got that 1960's feeling all over again....

As I posted, there is a buzz so let's look on this as a new begining for the Sky Blues and forget the negativity of the past few months.

I've got that 1960's feeling all over again....

Having suffered the ignomy of relegation to Division 4 (Now Div 2) and then gaining promotion as runner's up to Port Vale to Div 3 (now Div 1)-- the City were going really nowhere... until the Messiah that is Jimmy Hill came in. We then started to believe that City could at last be going...

    Midweek Games

Maybe they should read the "Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle. The past has gone, the future is just an illusion. The only real time is "Now". The position Now is that we are in the bottom 3. The position Now is that we are not relegated. The position Now is that it is still possible not to be...

    Bristol City Remaining Fixtures

Home Watford Derby Sky Blues West Ham Barnsley Away Pompey Middlesboro Forest B'ham Burnley I think they will get 10 points from these games.... maybe a slightly tougher run in than us ?

    Perm any 3 from 4.....

Sky Blues Doncaster Rovers Portsmouth Bristol City I think it's down to 3 of the above for relegation. Not sure about the remaining fixtures for the other clubs, but not so long ago we were 9 points from safety. While there's life, there's hope. Depends on how we fare against the others when...

Theres's only one team for me!

I agree Otis -- I've supported this Club through good times and bad, including relegation to Division FOUR, now Division 3. Consider just how fortunate we are compared to Pompey -- on the verge of liquidation and having to start again AFC Portsmouth in the Blue Square South. We are not the...

    SISU Choices

    1. Keep putting it's INVESTOR'S money in to keep the club afloat. 2. Go into Administration. 3. Get joint investment 4 Sell I can't for the life of me se how SISU, as a hedge fund, can justify risking it's invester's money into a failing business. I'd really like to know how SISU intends to...

Perm any 3 from 5 for relegation...

Donny, Sky Blues, Forest, Milwall, Bristol City. We ain't down yet, so don't give up hope ! Odds staked against us, but whilst there's still 20 games left ... it ain't all over till the fat lady sings (or fat director). Forest are crap, Milwall 0- Blues 6, Forest o Saints 3, Brighton 1...

    Would you ....

Would you accept Administration if it meant getting rid of SISU ? I would on the basis we are going down anyway (unless a miracle happens). PS Having said that beat Bristol and Brighton (fat chance) and we could be just 2 points off safety if other results gom our way,

    FA Cup Draw

Well, Cheltenham is just down the road from where I live and as we'll possibly be playing them in Div 1 next season. I'd like them in the Cup as well.

Worst I've felt in nearly 50 years

The worst I felt was when Bantams (the Bants) as they were called then, was relegated from the Third Division (South) to form the new Fourth Division. Really happy days though as things got better from then on !!!!

For what it's worth, this is how I'd save Sky Blues.

It's obvious the kids are just not up to the rigours of Champioship football, so to "save" Sky Blues I'd:- Sell the players on high salaries Sell Juke I'd bring in 7 or 8 "old heads" who are nearing the end of their playing careers and leave the kids to gain from their knowledge and...

Clingan & Cranie Offered £8k A Week Deals

I couldn't agree more. Relegation might be painful, but we have the basis of starting strongly with experienced players (on£4k a week) who can help us rebuild -- a few older heads coming towards the end of their playing careers at a higher level, plus our existing talented youngsters -- and the...

Sky Blues stay up by default ?

Should Pompey and Bristol City go into administration (assuming Sky Blues don't) and have 10 - 20 points deducted, is it possible Sky Blues will stay up by default ?
