    Councillor Kevin Maton

ACL took out a loan to pay the owners a one-off fee rather than a yearly fee. The debt is the bank loan the council helped with to pay off this original loan.

    Councillor Kevin Maton

No problem. We need the stadium so AVRO can slap a charge on it to protect their money even more and then for SISU to decide it is unfair to take on the 14 million loan the council organized for the ACL. So they stop paying that back and then we can go through another admin in a couple of years.

Official - we are in administration already

Surely the appointment of administrators and by whom will depend on the judge being satisfied that any movements of assets etc. between the two companies over the last 12 months are completely above board.

Why do our potential investors need to wait for admin to buy the Arena?

Perhaps these numbers will help people understand the Ricoh value/costs etc...

    stadium rent deal

Does anyone actually know what we are paying rent for? For example someone from the ACL side was on the TV recently pointing out that just the undersoil heating was costing 5k a day and it was running all week. Do we just pay a rent fee and the ACL pay the running costs i.e. cleaning...

    Account Soon To Be Empty

Wasn't one of the points about filing accounts etc. with the Football League that the club could show it could complete next season's fixtures? So there must be something that shows they can pay the rent etc. for that period.

    Financial info

Interesting one that OSB. Does it matter which part of the company group holds the registrations and which holds the assets? I suppose it would be important as to what part of the company holds the football league share. Also for all this talk about the ACL share would the football club have to...

    Fisher's comments on CW yesterday

I thought there was a salary cap in League 1- 55% of turnover- which would mean we have to cut wages even further.

    a rumour from a "source"

But most of the "gems" Thorn found actually cost us a fair bit in transfer fees to get in - regardless of the fees received when those players moved on. SISU won't fork out money so very difficult to find new "gems"! How many of our recent "unknown" players who came on free transfers have...

Birmingham City weekly wage £1mill+ !!

What was really wrong with the Portsmouth situation was that the administrator was i/c when they signed Kitson & Lawrence at over 20k a week. He said it was acceptable money in order for the club to be competitive in the Championship. Try telling that to all the small traders that didn't get...

do you all really think its just SISU to blame

"Had the club owned the ground then I think you would have seen it mortgaged to the hilt, any income derived from it used to service debt, and almost perversely more vulnerable to administration because banks and other creditors would have had something to go for " Absolutely. Also there's no...

    Ownership

I think this is just going to be a case of SISU (like many others) moving their funds away from proposed EU regulatory changes for hedge funds.

    Back of the cov telegraph!!!

Is this like when they took on Brody? Is this like when they told everyone at the start that they had to have all the shares because it was part of their investment rules of governance? As a follow-on from the Dulieu interview Clarke just makes himself look ridiculous if he believes anyone is...

    Good news at last!!!

OSB - Haven't SISU made things more complicated (with football debts being the preferred creditors) by increasing so many playing contracts recently? Didn't KD say something about the average squad remaining playing contract was now 3 years?

    Ownership

There are lots of different companies and funds being set up – Sconset and Avro Mastertrust to name two – and from the outside it looks like the club are preparing for administration. I don’t really understand why that perception would be there. A lot of money has gone in – way, way north of...
