Got the train home and watching it there. Had a similar day, went up the tower and had a few drinks in that little deck chair bar before a couple and dinner in the old town. Thought I’d leave it to the Germans and Scots tonight though, loads of Spanish out there too.

Manager coming out against the players is never a good sign. In Southgate’s previous tournaments something we’ve never lacked is team spirit. Looks like this has finally gone here.

There’s fuck all ‘big club’ fans out here. I’ve met one Utd and one Spurs and that’s it. Fans of all over clubs though and a fair number of non-league lot. Those clubs are just tourist attractions these days though.

For all of France’s decent play they haven’t scored a goal in 160 minutes so far.

We were absolutely shocking. Called 1-1 before the game though. He always goes ‘safe’ in the second game after a win in the first as it means we’re basically through. We need to look like we can turn it on though and there is little sign anything is there.

I would never choose England over city but this is my first proper tournament out with everyone and it’s actually incredible. On the piss with fans of all countries having a laugh. International tournaments are incredible.
