    Doug King Takeover

Will be interesting to see the council response, this pretty much removes SISU (is the minority stake retained on the basis the new owner will buy them out on promotion as a means of them getting a return?), removes any we're building a new stadium rubbish and promises regeneration in the area...

Doesn't the 'we' mean Coventry City rather than SISU?

I log off for a couple of hours and it all goes off. Never heard of the bloke which is a surprise if there's a local businessman with enough cash to buy a football club. Lots of questions of course, not least the timing. How does it effect the situation in court when there is now two groups...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Didn't it turn out at one point we were paying the rates for 365 days a year despite having use for only a few days then only got a rebate for some of the overpayment?

One of Wasps directors attended a property development expo and describe Wasps as a property development company that just happened to have a rugby club attached.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

people are talking about a need to put bids in before a deadline, did that actually happen? I don't remember any reports there was a deadline for bids after which a preferred bidder would be given an exclusivity period. quite tricky to ensure your bid is in by a deadline if you don't know...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

If regeneration of the area is a key council priority what have they actually done to achieve that. After all they are the freeholder and were part owners of ACL for many years. Presumably if it's such a priority there will be evidence of numerous regeneration projects undertaken around the...

what's the actual process here. if the bondholders object is that it, they can't do the quick sale to Ashley. Trustee can hardly get up and say it's all fine from the bondholders side if they've engaged their own representative to say it isn't. if it doesn't go through is it straight into...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Remember in 2011 when Ranson realised his plan was fucked and quit. That idiot Dulieu came in and at the very first press conference announcing the new board he declared the club would be meeting with the council to discuss buying the stadium, a meeting which the council said wouldn't take...

I do like the idea we can't believe a word that Sepalla, Fisher, Boddy, Byng or anyone else that may or may not be connected to the football club says but anything Duggins or Reeves come out with can't be questioned.

Come on shmmeee, you're not this naive. Needs something more than 'but SISU' this time round.

did they make that clear before or after the possibility of a bailout was leaked to the local media and there was a public outcry? is the story now that Reeves was working up a deal that involved tens of millions in match funding, a deal that was at an advanced enough stage there was a vote by...

Is that the meeting the public and media were excluded from? the one that no minutes were taken and oddly not a single person present made any notes? Not sure that's the best example as to this day nobody seems to have a clue what happened at that meeting past the result of the vote.

I thought Duggins was bad at interviews, that's a shocker. Can't keep his answers straight from one question to the next. We're supposed to believe he was having discussions, no matter how detailed or not they were, about wasps but has no idea if Richardson has a desire to stay involved or...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

I'm not convinced he would be. Wasps were broke and realised they needed us here, same can't be said of Ashley. Without knowing his motives for buying the stadium how he will act as a landlord is very much an unknown. He doesn't seem to have involvement in similar businesses we can look to as...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Doesn't the 200 year extension fall away and the original 50 year lease ACL had, or whatever is left of it, revert back to the council. On that basis wouldn't the existing agreements stay in place with the council being owners of ACL until a new buyer is found and / or they the bondholders...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Its weird that people were dead against the NEC on the basis the club and stadium would have different owners but are in favour of Ashley taking over despite everything we've heard being that he has no interest in buying the club and has had no contact with the owners. There's a scenario there...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

I've always had concerns about the valuation, it never seemed right to me but others insisted it was. I'm with Grendel here, if the bond total is £35m and you've been told there's security of £51m which has been independently verified you could reasonably expect to get your £35m back if it all...
