    Taxi on the way

Don't take him seriously, focus on the football and he is worth noting.

    Sour Grapes

Yes we were great that day but couldn't put them away at the 3 sided HR. Wegerle played brilliantly. He is never mentioned as a great player but he was super on his day.

    Taxi on the way

Italiahorse, I respect your point of view and I can understand that you are supportive of both parties as a matter of choice and convenience. Actually your slant on things is always relevant to me because it is "we are where we are" not where we would like to be or have a right to be like some...

    Some numbers

Well to put the promotion points tally to bed I have crunched the numbers and can categorically state the the first three will be promoted with more points than all other sides in the division(caveat; unless they finish equal with other teams but those sides have worse goal difference)

    The pitch

I agree about the pitch but are we in a position to demand anything from Wasps? What is our bargaining tool? That we will stay at the Ricoh?

    Robins

This percentage is even better when you consider that the previous incumbent had a percentage of 16% and Robins improved the side immediately.

    Robins

Robins didn't drop McDonald, Davies came in and has done very well. That's the best reinforcement to a statement any manager can have. Play well keep the shirt.

    Robins

Too simplistic! Wouldn't have been out of anything if we lost yesterday, granted it would be more difficult. Why should Richards regret joining Swindon? They lost a game but are still in the mix.

    Player Ratings

I felt that the team as a whole dropped too deep after the first 25 minutes yesterday and this contributed to Swindon scoring. Doyle is the glue that keeps the team together but he is taking on too big a task, it is his experience that is dragging us through some games and I believe Kelly...

    Big Cyrille

Yes it is a great read. Much loved, much admired. He must have found it difficult to be in an aging disintegrating Albion team and finding out that your reward was in a poor Coventry side and not a club like Manchester United, like his colleagues Moses and Robson. I am delighted he came out the...

Match Thread Coventry City - Swindon Town Match Thread - Saturday 20th Jan

does anyone else agree that most of our goals at the moment seem to come out of nothing? No build up play, no logical pattern, no head of steam.

Match Thread Coventry City - Swindon Town Match Thread - Saturday 20th Jan

Swindon are a decent side up front and we are sitting too deep. 2-1 up but the writing is on the wall.

    Commemorative Shirt for Cyrille?

I think it was right for West Ham to retire his shirt, just a generation too late.

    Commemorative Shirt for Cyrille?

Whist Cyrille Regis was an excellent man and a good player his heart was at West Brom, nothing wrong with that. The biggest tangible show of respect our fans can show for such an iconic figure is to get up to the Ricoh on a regular basis and support the team. I am not disputing his contribution...

Which goal made you go the most mental?

Now if you are talking loss of footwear then Neil Martin's winner v Leicester in 69. Us up, them down. Lost my shoe, worth the bollocking from my mum.

    Commemorative Shirt for Cyrille?

Nothing against the idea at all. I would certainly purchase it, but it's a big risk and the one who takes it has to be prepared to lose big and at best gain very little.

Which goal made you go the most mental?

The next goal we score, the last goal we scored. Gynn V Stoke 5th round in 87 sticks out as a bit of a man wee.

James Maddison sell on clause? Bid from WEST HAM

Actually a transfer this week disproved that theory.
