    Adam Barton joins Portsmouth

Promised much and delivered little. I was slightly worried that Mowbray was going to keep him on after playing him regularly towards the end of the season but good decision to let him go. We were always waiting for him to come good but frustratingly it never materialized. I think the...

    Danny Swanson

I was a bit disappointed when we shipped him out in January as he'd struggled with injuries and was beginning to come back to fitness. He's a 'potential' game changer in my opinion so I'd be interested to see TM's thoughts on him before flogging him north of the border. If he does decide he...

Mowbray wants to bring back Proschwitz permanently...

I doubt even Proschwitz would want to drop to League 2.

    Jack Collison

That's put a fantastic image in my head..

    Investment rumour.

Cue Tim Fisher's first press release in months; the club is categorically not for sale. However we would be open to collaborative investment. Seriously though, Wasps success may not have gone unnoticed. Equivalent potential could also occur with CCFC and would if we got back to the promised...

    villa after maddison?

If we receive serious bids for him it'll be interesting to see SISU's stance. I hope for all our sakes that they've learnt their lesson by flogging Wilson for a measly £3m last summer. Yes hindsight is a wonderful thing but they can't catch a cold with this boy. He is potentially worth £10m...

    Walking in a Mowbray Wonderland?

I agree with what you're saying in that sense, just wasn't sure why you were having a dig at the 'contractual loophole' query. The CT are beginning to piss me off with the 'we understand' or 'our sources' without actually revealing any names or quotes. They've really put themselves out there...

    Bywater anyone?

Yep, I used to like Bywater; steady pair of hands and I can't recall him making any errors in the Championship for us. With his career on the wind-down, I can't imagine he will command too much in the wages department. Experienced head at this level is just what we need.

    Walking in a Mowbray Wonderland?

Laughable in what sense? Do you honestly believe that Mowbray isn't wary of SISU and won't insist on having a get out clause if they aren't true to their word? Irrespective of the fact that my day job tends to involve studying contractual obligations and loopholes, have you never played football...

    Walking in a Mowbray Wonderland?

I'm sure the Telegraph have been saying this for the past week. No official update from Waggott either. Not going to believe it until it has been signed and sealed!

David Thompson, magic! Wish we'd have been able to keep hold of him for a couple of seasons longer!

20 goal a season striker, main priority

It would appear that him signing a contract is now a formality from reading this article! Here's hoping today is the day so we can get down to business!

Andy Turner - Review of the season

They will milk the Mowbray announcement for weeks. 50 things you didn't know about 'Mogga'. How 'Mogga' is looking forward to getting over the Ricoh hoodoo on the new carpet like surface. Can't wait!!

    Season ticket sales.

I'm sure that will increase dramatically if we get the news we are all waiting for! I will be number 401!!!

    Joe Murphy

Very surprising to see him make that challenge. Great pen though! Would love an attacking midfielder who scored 27 goals! On another note, so many empty seats at PNE. Ricoh would be sold out if we were ever lucky enough to reach the play offs.

He's just conceded a needless penalty

    Positive Talks

Mowbray seems to have put a lot of work in at his end and has probably left Messrs Seppalla and Fisher lost for words. I don't think they're used to being put on the back foot. It's solely in their court now and TM appears to want to stay. Fingers crossed!

Cranie and Bailey released from Barnsley

Probably a cost cutting exercise, both are probably on a fair whack. I'd imagine they were banking on gaining promotion this year. Wasn't Cranie their skipper?

    Promotion next year

No problem tony. I've just said the same to your namesake on the other thread. There was an interview taken from the observer which I think is from today so I've just copied the link from covcitymad.

When do we expect to hear about Mowbray ?

I was thinking the same Tony. Fearing the worst but would gladly be proved wrong.
