Bids for McNulty / McNulty to Reading

I wish McNulty only the best with his new club and have enjoyed having him at Coventry City and he has been a player who wins and changes games. To the naysayers I am sure that will continue. However now it's about us and our season. We have just lost our very best player.

Is a new Goalkeeper a priority

Burge was a poor keeper and is now a decent keeper and hopefully will become a good keeper for us. Confidence, experience and better defenders have improved Burge. Who would have looked good in our goal in 16/17? If Robins believes he is good enough then I have faith in his judgement.

    Maddison

Suitably admonished! Before I go to my room I must say that when I was a young boy Wolves were our rivals, then Leicester for a while, then Villa, all whilst we were in the same division. I don't look at Walsall for example as rivals or Oxford, mere stepping stones on our journey back up the...

    Neymar overrated

We are blessed to be in an era of Messi/Ronaldo and they are brilliant and consistent players who have transcended nearly all that have gone before them. Pele won three world cups out of four played in(yes totally over rated), Maradona took Argentina to a world cup win in 86 and also carried...

    Shipley Surprising a Young Fan

This is a great memory for your son, forever Sky blue, cemented by this act alone. In the first season in Division 1 my sister went on dates with a player and he used to pick her up at our house in Henley Green and take her out. The player was a lovely man who seemed genuinely happy to talk with...

That's brilliant but I think there is a need to put some perspective on this. I get supporting McNulty and I get that Mortimer is challenging him to stay but I really don't get the vitriol. Mortimer is a 200 game top division player for us. Possibly had the greatest career that any Coventry...

    Ominous Marc McNulty tweet?

Too sensitive IMO. Asked a question, gave an answer. It's doesn't warrant the outcry on here, especially as it's only an opinion, nobody is hurt and the challenge has been set to McNulty to stay and score goals in a higher division. Call me a fool but I would have thought that was what we all want?

    Boycott cov telegraph

Calling Mortimer anything other than a Coventry City legend is absolutely pathetic. He was sold against his wishes to Villa. That he made a brilliant career there is credit to him. Mortimer still attends games, is a supporter of the former players association and was advising McNulty to remain...
