    Next 12 games

Haha. Yes It's fans being fans. After a defeat all future games suddenly look like a visit to the dentists and something to be endured. I've got to be honest, I was exactly the same when looking at upcoming fixtures. Before the season started I had a look at the first few games and thought 'If...

    Villa Liverpool

Liverpool or City will still win it. Spurs and Chelsea could end up a lot closer, and dare I say it, with Watkins and Barkley to assist Grealish (Cash and Mings are strong too) Villa (spit) could have a much stronger season - already my outside choice for a top 6.

Just had a strange phone call

Can the taxi divert to Ole's house, then call round for Jürgen?

It's an homage to Tommy Hutchinson. He should be proud to be in such esteemed company.

    Fans back in !!! kinda

???If you're saying that they're crap - fine, I get that ???If you're saying that their ideology is that they're crap, I'm confused??? Can't believe anybody has that ideology, unless there is a 'Crap society' somewhere out there, or if you are a fan of a poor football club - let's say 'Southend...

I'd be tempted. For his different physical presence and pace, I'd be more tempted with Baka, although I suppose it will be Walker, who hasn't had enough game time for me to make a judgment on him. I'd be fine with that as long as Walker has the pace to stretch a defence (which Godden struggles with)

    Bottling 50/50s

OK. But O'Hare gets the crap kicked out of him and is one of the few players further up the pitch that battles and goes in where it hurts, when he knows he is going to get kicked. Perhaps need to review last night, but remember last season when his head was split open. Battled like a demon then...

    Bottling 50/50s

Sorry, but don't agree if you're referring to Hamer's effort. I think he made a mistake in trying to flick the ball before Gosling got there. Of all the things he can be accused of, being scared of a tackle isn't one. Dabo played it clever with one or two - winning free kicks, but he is another...

    Championship 20/21

Macaulay Bonne equalises for QPR. Keeps a decent gap back to Sheff Wed. Every little helps!

    Hamer

A point about the referee last night. Bournemouth players (as most will) realised that they could get away with a certain level of aggression that the referee let go. As an opposition fan we didn't like it, but that's where they were 'clever'. He let a few blatant scything tackles go without...

    Hamer

Giving the ball away in the middle of the park against better opponents is always going to expose you. Dabo/Rose getting fully fit will help us, but for me it is the lack of ball retention that has hurt us most. One team has dominated us from start to finish, and the QPR game first half. The...

    Hamer

slap in face - no excuse. Temperament issue a reasonable question, but we need his competitiveness though. as O'Hare aside without Hamer we are incredibly lightweight (unless Sheaf suddenly comes to the party). Kelly may help re: stability, but it remains to be seen how he will influence the...

    Hamer

Distribution has been the poorest part of his game imo, but he is strong in the air and doesn't shirk a tackle. Rose will probably replace him anyway for the next game, given that Rose will be at our training ground for MR to work with, while Ostigard is away with the Norwegian national team...

    Hamer

To be fair, you could say the same about Ostigard last night, but nobody's questioning his temperament. We need Hamer to be competitive. Alongside his set pieces/passing/shooting, it's a key asset. I like him, but as I said in another thread, he's going to drive you mad occasionally - but way...

    Midfield

I'm not sure that it was even bottling it, but it appears that he is almost 'shadowing' a player, whereas O'Hare is always looking to get a foot in to nick the ball. I won't judge him just on last night's game, but at this level he definitely needs to show more intent to attack the ball, and...

    Midfield

I think you may be correct. If we cannot play out from the back effectively, due to losing the ball too often in dangerous areas, then having an extra body up front to support Godden also allows the likes of O'Hare to snaffle up any loose ball. This is more likely to happen due to how alert...

As I said - get them out of the way whilst Hamer is suspended. He'd have lost his rag with Toney and co anyway!!

    Match Thread Bournemouth Match Thread

I tend to agree with you that pace/skill/better players will be an issue when we face the better teams. Luckily for us, I don't think they are all like that, although unfortunately -(Brentford included) there are probably 6-10 teams who are. It is the other teams that we must challenge, and pick...

Kelly to sit alongside Sheaf for the next 3 games. Feel so sorry for O'Hare with the work he puts in - needs more help around him. Hope Bapaga's shoulder heals quickly - he could be a real help in getting us forward. Dabo needs fitness - but is slowly getting that back (he will improve). We do...
