Which is the rationale for Ayew not being allowed to play tonight.

We took Walker out and he isolated - not sure how they administer the rule re: close contact/timing. Rooney was 'pulled' when he's tested negative, as he'd come into contact with someone who'd meant to be self isolating (not sure the bloke had even tested positive? I'm unclear on the rules...

From the Swansea forum - and the consensus seems to be along these lines re: their forward Ayew Wayne Rooney is in a similar position but he's not being allowed to play for 11 days I think. He visited a mate who tested positive, Rooney himself then got tested which came back negative, but he...

Reading game moved to Friday night

That money is going to be really helpful to us - our survival as a club comes above everything else this season - although avoiding relegation would also help in that matter (plus make us all a lot happier)

Come on EarlsdonSB1 - you've been frequenting this forum long enough to know that's not the case 🤣

It's an easy thing to correlate ' The other side are on top = either 'we're rubbish, or we're giving them too much respect' versus we get on top = 'They've taken their foot off the gas' By those equations, how do we describe Spurs v West Ham yesterday?

May have implications for more than just him though, as it says he has mixed with a number of other Swansea players and could affect a number of them?

One bit of good news for us (bad for the player) is that Morgan Gibbs-White (?) on loan from Wolves - and a really good player - is out for 3 months after fracturing his foot at the week-end.

I'm not the manager, so I'm not responsible for the team's approach/mentality, and I'll happily take points off anybody - just looking at the sides we might hope to finish above. If you knew me, I'm the most glass half full City fan you'll meet.

I watched it too. But both of those teams are established top half Championship teams, so no surprise they look more at this level than us. It's the Luton's etc of this division we should be looking at to finish above.

Had a good nights sleep ?

Unfortunately G, despite the other 'benefits' we may have gained from Cov-id comparative to other clubs in the division, the one downside has been the inability to shift players from the squad very easily. Despite the reservations about the quality of some of the players at this level, we are...

Had a good nights sleep ?

He is big enough to boss defenders. He looks like he has beefed up. For me the one thing we can use him for (if Walker can't do it) is to stretch defences by running behind them, That should be able to drag us up the pitch - the one failing in Godden's game, as he will rarely outpace defenders...

Had a good nights sleep ?

He's started him once - and he only played yesterday because Walker tested positive. That makes him a squad player, doesn't it?

He's young, he'll improve. he can pass and can tackle. He'll prove an asset over time.

The first 25 minutes or so, I agree - but that was as much down to the midfield/attack, as the defence, who I thought dug in with McFadz at the heart of it.

We lost 3 games last season, so he hasn't got it that wrong very often? I agree that there are times I want him to do things differently, but I just think the arrogant comment is uncalled for. Stubborn, maybe - but then it's his job on the line and he wants us to succeed as much as you or me.

Rotherham lost at home to Norwich? Norwich have started slowly this season. First 'criminal' goal was offside according to others (Giles fell over). We defended well for the rest of the game and they scored one poor (ish) goal. They are a team with some very good players and i thought we...
