Perspective needed....
He's 35 in a couple of weeks and is being released by Sheff.Utd.
No longer of interest to many clubs other than league 1 maybe on a short term deal?
Would he be a good back up for Godden? Fallen in the pecking order at Sheff.Utd, getting rid by mutual consent. He is older now but still very fit obviously, and at this level surely worth a half season shout to have in the camp?
Yes and when really packed for a derby or in those days FA Cup tie (when it was still revered as a competition) you would go to the loo or for a pie and have to squeeze your way through to get back where you were and often lose your place at the lean to cross bar. I remember even being lifted...
The movement of Godden is top class. Watch how he pivots his movement to receive Shippers flick. And he takes it on first time, no second touch. Top quality goal from avery good striker. I do like Shippers role in being much further forward in supporting Godden. Was that Westbrooke with the long...
This is the sort of game that you expect a win and end up with a bit of egg on your face. But we should have enough about us nowadays for that not to happen.
I sense MR's will rota a couple. It's a physical side. Mason for McCallum. Allen for Westbrooke. Looking to see Jodi Jones featuring at...
TBH I think Westbrooke is average at best. Lightweight in the tackle and does not have much physicality about him. Energy levels are low after 60 minutes. He is a player with a bit of vision but in my eyes does not command a place ahead of Allen. £2m? Wow if true snaptheir hands off!
Big club away. We don't want any extra games to mess up our protion chasing season. Get in, get out with big money. Utd or Liverpool away will do nicely.
Tough decision. I'd obviously bring in Allen and O'Hare. Max up top with Godden on the bench. Kelly deserves a rest but must keep Walsh in. Morosi is a keeper no ecuse for a rest. McFaz maybe a rest and young McCallum. Can't change too much but to play the same side would be wrong given the...
