Match Thread Coventry City at AFC Wimbledon Match Thread - Saturday 11th Aug

I would like to see Grimmer restored to the line up and Burge in goal. I believe we put too many new players in the team on Saturday, that said we played good football and we deserved something. Burge Grimmer Davies Willis Mason Doyle Agogo Bayliss Andreu Shipley Biamou

    Scunthorpe Last Minute Save

Not so sure Nick, I have had another look and he could have gone low. That said it was a fine save and denied us a point.

    Scunthorpe Last Minute Save

If he had the ball on the deck the Keeper wouldn't make the save.

    Transfer Rumour Deadline Week

Nobody bit so il'll leave it there. I thought we were good and ailthough wanting to get points on the board I came away heartened by the performance, the way the fans stuck with the team and the potential for a good season. 16/17! Is always in the back of my mind and I am sure others are filled...

    Transfer Rumour Deadline Week

Why don't we love ok to get rid of all our players from last season? Apparently they are all shit.

Match Thread Coventry City vs Scunthorpe United Match Thread - Saturday 4th Aug

What has taking 40,000 to wembley got to do with losing to Scunthorpe? Personally I don't believe that either Biamou or JCH are the answer but it's not my team to pick.

Match Thread Coventry City vs Scunthorpe United Match Thread - Saturday 4th Aug

A decent game, a good performance against a side that knows how to win in this league. I was pleased with all our players and trust the manager to find solutions. Great to see our fans applaud the team off and I saw Ian Botham too!(a sporting hero of mine) I am not too down as I expect us to be...

    Say Hello, Waive Goodbye ?

This song was on top of the pops 2 this week. Made me think of Dave Sexton and our great youngsters which was a case of waiving goodbye.

    George Thomas to Scunny

George gave us some light in the darkest season. I wish him only the best and hope he does well for Scunthorpe, after tomorrow of course. He would walk in to our team.

    Stokes - Confirmed to Bury

Marsden was a lovely player, found space in tight areas and seemed to find his man every time. He was better than anybody we had at the time and for me his only failing was he was one paced. Kevin Richardson was a similar player that followed. Of the two I would have liked to have had Marsden...

Time will tell if was the correct decision to let him go. Best wishes to him and thank you for your time at Coventry City.

    Unpatriotic English People

I would support the home nations over others for just that reason. They are the people of these islands. They lived and died alongside us under our banner and monarch. Rivals in sport yes, brothers in arms certainly.

    Unpatriotic English People

My parents were Irish and were grateful for the life England afforded them despite my father spending his war years in the armed forces being abused for being Irish. I am Coventry born and raised, wouldn't consider supporting anyone else but my hometown and my country, England. I had one this...

    In The Times today

each person will have a view on this but I can only imagine that it's like comparing your best orgasm. Coventry City for me every time but a World Cup win may change that POV. Tissues ready.

If the manager felt he would benefit the team that would be enough for me.

    Ched Evans

Like others its a no from me but what a load of shit spouted on here by the high and mighty self righteous. If Robins wanted him I would have no objection to him being our player, if it was felt he could add something then I would want him. Why? because despite what the hanging judges on here...

    Helping out fellow fans

I am proud to have contributed and delighted that we will be supported in 18/19 by 12 people who otherwise would not have been able to join the roller-coaster. A great initiative by MMJ and well done to the contributors for their money. Lets do it again in 19/20 MMJ?
