The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I am not making excuses. It doesn’t bother me. Lots of people make predictions. It is hard to foresee the future, but we have now had 4 straight months of falling business investment. That is definitely a Brexit effect and together with a slowing of the the world economy will probably have a...

No I don’t constantly praise the EU. I just correct you and point out the negatives of Brexit. I read the Selmayr report, pointed out the misquote in the press release. Read and posted the relevant rules. Linked öttinger‘s answer to the report and confirmed that the final report overruled...

What are you on about? Juncker said the EU won’t change the 4 freedoms. It was true. Nothing to do with Juncker, just a fact which he conveyed. He did agree we wouldn’t have to bail the Euro out.

I didn’t have a strong opinion either was on the UK joining the Euro. It turned out, that up to now, that not to join the Euro was the right decision. I don’t know how making a wrong decision equates to telling a lie.

I didn’t vote for this boring old bollocks, and yes there are plenty of things we should be doing instead of wasting time and money shooting ourselves in the foot. I am not employing anything for the EU. I am not praising or slagging the EU. Just slagging Brexit because the negative side is...

Are you claiming not to know about Lisbon, Schengen, Maastricht or the Euro? You didn’t notice Farage in the media all the time, so maybe you just don’t check out what is going on.

Germany is not in recession. It is on the border of a recession for the reasons that are affecting the car industry and in particular the slow down in China. The UK economy is growing st a slower pace and business investment is well down as businesses delay investment due to uncertainty...

Which rely in part on imported parts. If car plants decide it is more economical to produce in the EU because 450 million people have a higher demand than 65 million, then we will only have imported cars. A bit like Ireland.

Here is the extract from the first ombudswoman’s report which confirms what I said: „103. As outlined above, many citizens, EU civil servants, journalists and MEPs felt unease in the weeks following the appointment of the Commission’s new Secretary-General. The Ombudsman inquiry has had access...

It is not a lie. That is what was originally said. I think I posted the report ages ago. I know I posted and reposted the quote on it being ‚stretched‘. I also posted the rules where, in a case of urgency, they could bypass the usual procedure ( as May did by appointing her loyal lieutenant as...

Oettinger wrote the report against the report. That is their version. The first ombudsman report said ‚stretched‘. I posted an extract 2 days ago. The press release said broke. The final report now says broke. Selmayr will probably fight any attempts to fire him based on the change in wording...

WTO rules insist same deal offered to everyone if you reduce tariffs. Davis and Mogg want to do away with tariffs in some cases ( Mogg even unilaterally all tariffs in a no deal situation) which would be a massive incentive for China. The protections which we do have will be gone. Is it better...

Selmayr has not been kept under the radar. There has been a vote on it. Just, for most countries it is not as big a deal as in the UK Brexit press. The report says the rules were stretched. The press release says they were broken. At an employment court they would take the words in the report as...
